What Do You Want From A Shadower Update?
So under the assumption that all adventurers will get some sort of buff in the ongoing rebalancing of classes, what do you want?
I want a faster BS (decreased delay in exchange for lower % damage), more %PDR from instinct, higher % for CE amongst other things.

Nothing at all, just give us unlimited patch..

What I typically do on moving bosses that I cannot KB w/ Assassinate (or on bosses that I am KBing but they are not pinned yet) is I allow the last hit of Nate to happen when the monster seems to be moving too far away in order to mini-dash closer to it.
Some people suggested a new 1v1 move at 4th job... any ideas for that?

We already get +50% Crit with Flip of the Coin
Personally, I think Shads are quite sufficient the way they are. The only things I'd like to see would be to fix SS so you can actually see the screen, and to bring back Assaulter. It was an extremely helpful mobility tool.
@simaini: hey that doesn't sound dumb, it's pretty great actually. Bringing back a skill all shads loved to death but also changing nate's ugly animation + delay lol
I want all of our original skills back:
- BoT
- Assaulter
- Chakra
- "BStep"
plus SP & FJ - so basically everything we had in [url=http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-Bandit-Guide-346.html#BB]Big Bang[/url]
but with the %damage boosts we got in the Renegades update. No "BStab" animation change ("BStep" will always be better), no smokescreen blinding, etc.

Personally, I think assassinate would have been a more appropriate name for assaulter instead of assaulter.
This might sound stupid, but I think it would be cool if nexon combined assaulter and assassinate. It would still be called assassinate, but instead of having that ugly slap slap dash animation, it would be like assaulter. The damage will be the same as the regular assassinate, including the multipliers from dark sight and shadower instinct, but it would work like assaulter. So basically, it's assaulter with assassinate's damage and its ability to be cast in dark sight. Think about it, hiding in the shadows with dark sight and then bam!, assassinated
Sounds pretty stupid but I think it's cool And, it would give shadowers even more invincibility frames <3
I wish our damage lines were straight again, it was neat and tidy.

Nope, but eventually cause KMS announced that they are rebalancing all classes, they only did merc and phant so far and they kinda went off on a tangent by releasing the revamp for Soul Masters (Dawn warriors). Hoping that they would keep their word or actually remember, we should be getting a revamp soon unless they decide to finish the Cygnus knight revamps first or if they decide to rebalance all the other classes before us.
This thread is basically just asking for the shadower community's opinion on what needs to be changed, not that any of it would really matter since KMS doesn't take suggestions from its players (especially GMS players), I'm assuming.
Assaulter and BoT, obviously.
Boomerang Stab changed back to Boomerang Step, because I said so.
All Hyper Skills for Step also includes the skills it already passively boosts.
And some stuff other people have already mentioned, like fixing the cast time on Haste, the broken effect on Smokescreen, and the speed reduction from Dark Sight.
-Make Steal a bit stronger
-Make Secondary weapons apply to Shield Mastery
-Triple jump (another jump in Flash Jump)
-Make Midnight Carnival stronger
-Make Dark Flare Stronger and a wider range
-Make mesos from Pickpocket "fake" (can't pick them up) and a bit transparent (boy, I had to think hard on this one)
-Put all hits in Assassinate in one "Assaulter-like" movement through one enemy
-Tiny bit stronger B-Step and more enemies hit
-A little more avoid in Shadow Shifter
-Transparent Smokescreen
-Faster and different ultimate that Sudden Raid... were not Dual Blades
So I wasn't creative about the revamp... hey, Mercedes and Phantom basically got something like this!
Make meso explode a passive skill. Something like, "Mesos from pickpocket have a 50% chance of exploding when you attack"
i want shads to be faster (like maybe 10% faster) i want them to make lv180 eqps set, thats easy to obtain, 1 set per char and untradeble comes unique, that'll deffinatly put a curve in the market and deflate meso value, haxors wont tin this one
i would want more % damage on carnival or new 4th job 1v1 skill.
get rid of PD and bring back BoT
fix Smokescreen

As much as I love assaulter. I don't think it has any use in the game other than very specific mobility situations..
OT: I don't think there is any real buff required especially as it is very difficult maybe even impossible to beat assassinate post unlimited. Perhaps some 2nd job enhancements or change meso explode to kb in the direction facing?
Make the buff times shorter and bring Assaulter back!

step faster, nate new animations, wider spread and a little clearer screen, and just a little bit more in coin toss
Nexon can keep Assaulter. It was garbage and nostalgia is the only reason people want it back. What Shads need is for Smokescreen's animation to be less opaque and for BS and Nate not to cap as easily. Another attack that uses Body Counts would be nice, preferably a mob skill. Also when ME goes off, it'd be nice if the coins closest to the boss go off as opposed to the oldest coins. Bosses that move a lot make ME near useless.

Edited Version: 40% chance of dealing triple damage for the last hit (so SP hit wud be 210% dmg instead of 70% dmg) or 3% chance of auto-kill for reg monsters (including LHC and SH and HOH), and 3% chance of reducing hp by 1/5th for boss monster (5 tries per monster). Wud that b better?
Delete the last hit of assasinate make assasinate spammable and able to mutiply dmg while using dark sight ( in kms instead of mutiplying it adds. )
Maybe 30% more dmg on MC, Like a 15% chance of dealing 1000% more dmg or a 3% chance of reducing hp by half (for bosses) for assassinate, and make bstep a little bit more faster (or stronger). Also, giv us BoT back.

Something that doesn't just make Assassinate look like tiny miniscule ripples that seem to just be recolored regular attack effects.
Although Boomerang Step could be faster, I get the feeling they really wanted a chain mechanic in there, although it's not as seamless as the new Thunder Breakers.

Smokescreen was already fixed in KMS, it just wasn't applied in GMS

Go to 2:52, it was already fixed when it came out of KMST, GMS just got the KMST version that's all
They need to fix the DS problem of over riding haste, I hate it how I have to haste each time I DS. Cast time of buffs need to be decreased (or back to how it was)
%dmg increase to MC, less delay on BStep and Nate, bring back BoT and Assaulter, or give Phase Dash the ability to climb up to high platforms like Assaulter.
I want the old Smoke Screen back, that purple ugly bubble fog is annoying and you can't see crap

I want our smoke screen fixed, and our buff duration's back to how they used to be, im tired of being immobile for 5 seconds after getting dispelled trying to recast haste and meso guard and shadow partner...Anything else is cake, but not needed IMO.

Nope, I too liked the old nate animation better
Needs more damage for MC, a better mob attack for 3rd job, another unique meso related skill, and assaulter back, or at least a toggle skill to change lolspellheim's rush into an assaulter or something similar
Also, am I the only one who thinks that the old Assassinate animation is actually superior to the current one in that it looks a lot slicker?
Decrease skill delay, bring assualter back, nice avoid as db.

definately more %dmg on carnival, decrease delay on bs and assassinate, or even have a new, better and faster 1v1 move at 4th job... and better mobbing skills at 2nd and 3rd job and bring back assaulter
