My opinion...
I'm actually very excited about Frozen's sequel - really fascinated by its abilities to create fleshed-out and relatable characters. The animation, of course, will look great with Big Hero 6's newly integrated Hyperion rendering engine, and I'm hopeful that Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee, the Lopez's, and the animators will all put a lot of heart into it. It's Lion King all over again, but this time we've got the official Walt Disney Animation studios working on it instead of the low-budget Disney Toon studios. With their recent releases; Tangled, Wreck-it Ralph, Big Hero 6, Frozen's sequel should be decent at its worst.

And yeah, I can see how many people are sick and tired of hearing it, but considering how the movie really inspired a generation, I'm very appreciative that it's Frozen that's getting a lot of attention rather than Transformers or something.

ugh i'm ust sad because its going to be so bad. i loved frozen tho. and i love tangled. tangled is all time fav. idk there hasn't really been a recent disney movie that ive hated... wreck it ralph, htttyd1/2, monsters university...they've been good. i guess im not counting cars/planes tho cuz ive never seen em lol. but you know what lets get off this negativity about frozen 2 cuz we all know what we're really looking forward to....FINDING DORY! yeaaaa

@MrsGoat1995 I was so mad when she ended that line with "sky." I was so sure she'd sing "I'm one with the wind and snow." But nooooo she had to be all weird and try to make it fit with the next few lines. Bothered me to no end.

Frozen was Disney's biggest IP since... Lion King? And let's not forget how many "Lion King-esque" movies they released for the following ~10 years after that. You will be seeing "spiritual successors" to Frozen, too.

I think everyone is overreacting, sure, the song is annoying but it's not that big of a deal.

I never watched Big Hero 6, but I personally think that Frozen was way better then Tangled.

@xdracius no it wasn't bad it's just... the degradation of society after the release of the movie was nothing short of astounding. the entirety of America became absolutely fixated on cold weather and snowmen and sing-alongs x_x it's awful. I mean people are still talking about the movie like it's relevant.

I liked the movie, it wasn't terrible.

@Carbyken the movie was half decent and it deviated from the Disney's Fairy-tale-princess copy/pasta format that they usually stick to. It had some depth this time... or maybe not, it depends on how much you want to read into it. In the end the plot was confusing because it was a little messy. I have a feeling that some of the plot elements panned out differently in the original stories.

@AckarRed I don't even know how Tumblrinas got it to go that far. Honestly though I think what sold it was Olaf. Every little kid loves Olaf even though he's... probably one of the most useless characters I've ever seen. Oh well...

@Wanton well the original songs weren't that bad but the avalanche of music covers... ugh.

It's because Tumblr managed to overhype it to hell.
