Dating is more expensive for women than men
I hear guys complaining all the time about how expensive it is for them to date women. Most of them say that most women expect to have dinner or drinks to pay for which I agree with. Most of the time they end up spending 25-50 which isn't that bad considering men make more money than women. But men never consider the hidden costs that we as women make for dates. We have to get our hair done at salons, we have to buy makeup, new dresses and shoes to look good for dates. When you add that all up dating for women is more expensive because it's a constant upkeep for us.

I can't take this post seriously at all... this sounds a lot like the 'trying to impress a guy to get a chance at tying him down'-phase..... in the end it depends on the couple individually but I can personally say with confidence that my hubby has spent more on me than I have on him... it's also easier to gift women something and surprise them with little things which eventually adds up. I have a hard time coming up with anything to give my hubby so he typically gets crap like an especially fancy meal or.. you know. Not something I spend money on lol
ok that's bull**** first women could do all that stuff at home second most women simply use a dress from their closet and third a majority of women don't need to be so fancy for a date since they are the invited unless they're married.
For the men's part to pay:
-gasoline
-perfume
-dinner
-movie tickets / popcorn and other consumables
-gifts
-entertainment
Honestly they both have their expenses but males beat females by a landslide since they're the breadwinner by most couples

dumbest cht ive ever read
clothing, makeup and all that are normal expenses. you can wear makeup for more than one night, you can wear clothes for a long time, or you can just resell it or take it back to the store after the date night. if you're gonna get technical and call that justified, then what about the guys gas money, car maintenance, gym membership, clothes, hair gel, and everything else on top of the date costs that you didn't mention?
dont even get started on shoes, a fresh pair a jordans go for a good $200+
So they do the whole dress-up thing just for the date then you wake up next to them and discover what they look like without all that crap. No thank you, I rather have a little less perfection > some natural beauty <3.
can't forget about prom. pretty sure my date spent like 1k on her dress and other miscellaneous girl stuff that men won't ever understand.

I didn't realize how much $ women spend on skincare products until recently. Hundreds maybe thousands a year. I'm about to buy/waste money some products at walgreens that I hope will eliminate my acne pizza face. R.i.p. my bank acc.

I have never done any of these specifically for a date. I buy makeup, dresses and shoes when I see something cute.
25 dollars for a date? What kind of dates have you been to? Going to the movie alone probably cost 20 for 2 tickets, even more if you watch it in 3-D, and even more if you buy some snacks. Afterwards you usually grab a bite to eat which cost even more.

Food isnt cheap at resturaunts, unless youre going to mcdonalds.. but thats pathetic, its roughly 30$ a person. you dont have to buy makeup, buy a new dress, get ur weave did,, those are things you CHOSE to use your money on for self reasons.

You're income is completely dependent on your occupation. There are too many variables to consider when it comes to gender specific income differences
