Not rly. You fund until you can solo bosses. Then all you do is solo bosses. until you realize you have nothing else to do but solo bosses. And there's no point in soloing bosses b/c you don't need the extra meso b/c you're already funded. So instead of taking the logical decision of quitting you use the unnecessary funding to become an nx hoar and char hop nonstop.
To an extent, yes. Then you realise it's more efficient for you to solo than party for 99% of the game, and then you realise that you're playing an MMORPG by yourself.
Damage is a factor, as defeating new bosses and experiencing harder content is all part of progression, but it's not all about damage, at least for me. I thought it was for a while, when I mained a marksman for a year, but I've since returned to my Mercedes and decided to stick with it for its playstyle in spite of nerfs or unbalances.
Damage is fun yes, it allows you to progress and experience many things in the game, however... maple is not truly fun until you realized that you don't need high damage
Then you get to CVellum and think "Crap I need higher damage"

NX is Friends, Friends is NX
anyone that hates damage just signed their death warrant with their blood
how can u not like more damage.
Making new chars are fun and power leveling.
At the end of the day they are just numbers... Pretty orange and red numbers that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Personally, I wouldn't say damage itself is fun, but I need a certain amount of damage to enjoy high level content which I find fun.

Chum is fum.
Like in all RPGs I played, I slowly improve my character to be stronger in time with damage.

once you reach the top damage its more fun to push the limit down to the minimum damage req to kill said bosses
with enough time to loot
unless your going about max funding every job
Damage is love. Damage is life.
I enjoy making a guild and getting stronger together. I wish I had as strong a guild as FairyTail
Rip Nihon.
When u are lvl 210, not much else to do besides making a new character and raising your damage.
Improving is fun.
