Are you satisfied with your life thus far?

I feel like just being able to make a decent living doesn't really equate to success, but rather, you must have satisfaction in your accomplishments additionally.
Personally, I'm relatively satisfied with my life, my college path is looking good, I have great friends, and I have a great time all around. The only thing I'm not really satisfied with is the somewhat strained relationship with my parents.

Turning 20 tomorrow, in grad school, basically being paid to learn.

I mean, I can't complain, but there's always room for improvement.

That's an amazing goal you have there. The beautiful thing about experiences is that nobody can take it from you.

@tranquil: tell me were i said that. I said life is constantly changing. 20s are really young to be thinking of your end story. Just because you feel satisfied now does not mean you will feel like that for the next 60years. Depression can hit, drugs, you find a new hobby, you travel and live in another country for a year or two. So many factors

I'm 23 and if were to die right now, I could look back on my life and say "wow I had an amazing life"

I'm not satisfied because all I've done so far in my life is be in school.
But I'm pretty satisfied with the work I've done in school so far which will hopefully lead to a good future.

l am not satisfied with my life yet until l can live independently on my own, pay my own bills, do my own taxes, and until l can draw and animate for the rest of my life.
So many things in our world to see, to explore, to learn, l don't think one can truly ever be 'satisfied' with their life until their last breath reflecting back.

@hydraxide: no no youre actually right, even if you are born into money you can still have your own problems. different problems but still problems. people still die, ideas still change, opportunities still arise

You'd be surprised at how many issues upper class kids have. The amount of parental neglect is more or less to the same as not having that parent. Plus you lack motivation to make something more of yourself. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself here though.

Very happy. I'm gonna start my full time job after August and I've got a few good friends for leisure and hangout. I also have enough savings to go on a roadtrip next month.

i just started livin alone and atm i love it
i bring whoever and however many ppl i want n do whatever tf i want

downside is tht i m not savin any money n im workin to party pretty much
