Opinion on going to the movies alone
Tonight was very good. I work retail. I talk to people all day in person and on the phone. I get off at 9pm and if it's Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, I head to the movies afterward because nobody goes to the movies on those 3 days and that time of night and kids are already asleep because they have school in the morning. There is this very secluded/dead dollar movie theatre where I live that no one ever visits. I have no idea how they stay in business. Tonight, I went in bought a 2$ticket for The Book of Life in 3d and it was amazing. I was the literally only one in the theatre. Me and that giant screen. It was awesome and the movie had such vivid colors and great animation also. I started doing this multiple times this month. http://imgur.com/BDW7RKL

I'd probably fall asleep if I go watch a movie alone.
But that's just me.
I did it.

Hey you're supposed to turn off your potato when you're in the theater.
nothing wrong with it. i would do the same if i was in your situation
No tbh. If I wanted to watch something entertaining I'd just watch it at home if I was alone. At least one of the main factors of why I go to the movies is because my friends go.
Going to the movies alone would be lonely/boring af for me.
ive gone by myself before but never like that o.o props to you
Respect =)
I got to the movie theater alone a lot of times. You go whenever you want and watch whatever you like.
I've never been to the movies alone but that sounds like an interesting experience.

nerd! I'd probably go alone too though.
I wouldn't stress about it. If it's because you're busy but you otherwise have a healthy social life, then it's just a matter of necessity and so long as you're happy with it, then it's not a big deal. The problem is when out of avoiding social interactions or having friends you go to the movies alone. Then it's weird and bad.
I haven't been to the local movie theatre for almost a year.
I even have a free ticket pass that let's me watch any movie more than 2 weeks old for free.
If you get enough people, everyone can bring pillows and blankets and you can make a big ass fort in the movie theater
@OnlineMusic as a fellow mexican, i must ask to come along since there's churros involved. there's no way im missing out on churros.
haahha That thought did go through my head mid-way through the movie. I want in on this whole watching a movie thing with @killeem and @coast, i'll bring the churros.
The last time I watched a movie was also by myself and also 3D! I love doing things alone
Side note, what about your safety though? Late at night at a dead theater, something could happen to you @_@
That's actually pretty rad.
We have a cheap $2 movie theatre not too far from where I live but it's PACKED literally every night.
Dang this experience must be pretty awesome. A time away from a busy job to a HUGE screen movie. nice.
that sounds awesome. wish we had a place like that here.
