Boss Damage

My boss % is 208% clean and 253% buffed however the lines I'm doing in sdh is same as the dmg I'm doing on cra and for cvel much less. Any idea why this is the case? My pdr is fine 91% but I still only hit the same amount on bosses when i hit normal mobs. However I do hit more on normal bosses but just not on the hard bosses like hmag, cra, etc.

More pdr also helps with cvel/ lotus/ high end pdr bosses. At 91% ignore, you're still doing 27% less damage (300% *.09). If you got maybe 95% ignore (maybe an extra line of 35-40% ignore?), it would increase damage done by 12% on cvel as the 27% reduction would decrease to 15% aka Your damage (assuming % att and % stats are multiplied in) * (boss+total) *.5 (physical resist if 0 insight/ not factoring in certain job passives) * .85 (assuming 95% pdr with the 15% dmg reduction)

@msnite: Besides mining, I guess you can farm silver needle at FriendStory and use it to buy one of those items that raises Insight (they are not limited to 500 daily exp).

Mr. Lee Airlines quest also gives trait exp, but like mining those are subjected to daily limit.

Do i just mine all the time in the ardentmill mining place for insight? My insight hasn't gone up in ages. Is there a faster way?

You could get 5% elemental ignore by increasing your insight to lvl 100 (0.5% per 10 levels).
It's really a hassle to raise it though.
Blaze wizards and Dawn warriors have a party debuff that gives you 10% and 20% elemental ignore on targetted mobs respectively. (0% and 10% after revamp)

Yeah this is correct. We don't have any way to deal with ele resist so stack int/matk 4 lyfe

CRA/Hmag are bosses that have elemental/attack resistance. Your damage compared to normal bosses will be halved.
