http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/

Dragons are finally dead. Let's all take a moment of silence as dragunities were brought down with them.

Its so stupid, they release op cards just to ban em. And then what? you end up with useless cards that you wasted money on.
I went to Nats three times.

Yugioh is all about who can buy the best cards. If you buy the best meta deck at the time, you've already improved your chances at winning. Next, you have to get extremely lucky. If you get lucky enough, you literally need 0 skill.

I'd say Yugioh is 85% money, 10% luck, 5% skill in an ideal format.
Well now Dragon Rulers is limited to 1 each, now is the time for SKILLED dragon ruler players like me to play the deck hardmode to own people like you, get out of my thread.

Oh wow, competitive YGO is still a thing? It's been so long... I figured it would have died out by now. Twas one of the reasons why I switched to Magic.

What! People still play this game!
Wait no not my Blue Eyes White Dragon. LOL
This game became uncool starting Summer 2006.
@GlitterPumas You don't have to spend that much, and a lot of people don't. Lots of people use the Dueling Network or something similar, and many past Yu-Gi-Oh! games have had an online mode.

And really, insulting other people because there's actual value associated with collectables? Why not start the slippery slope and bash other things, like the insane mark-ups in retail businesses?
While I can't agree with him about game require no skill, I can agree on how stupendous the card price be. Then again, that applies to most TCG. There's lots of people still play cards manually, lots of them in card shops.

The values of cards are just too crazy. I recall opening one pack from RoD booster, got SR Junon, and someone was willingly to pay $80 after a while?
Who remember old DAD price as well.
The price is just ugh..

Deck value just determine how overrated it was (Aka pre-assumed OP), but most people fail to see how those deck got big weaknesses. Cough Abyss-mermail cough.

And guess what - Tsukuyomi and Magician of Faith is back. Bad sign anyone?

Why would I say such a thing if I have never played yugioh before lol what the hell? Wouldn't I be insulting yugioh instead rather than pointing out its one flaw?
I bet you play a top tier deck and got salty

Besides the game is ridiculously expensive because of stupid players who overvalue their cardboard. I don't mind dropping big cash on a hobby I enjoy but I fail to see the purpose of buying a $200 deck and not being able to compete against a deck that could potentially be about one grand.

Well, I can admit that there's always OP deck that makes it look unbalanced, but there's always counter for it
That aside, KONAMI still milks out from Prophecy, I assume?

@anime1990: I know. They could have just killed off the adult dragons, but they had to go and kill off another archetype also, especially after Vajrayana was just reprinted in those tins.

Thought that was a bit too slow, but now Ravine is gone. That's a big loss for me
