How Many Push-Ups Can You Do?
I was just curious about how many pushups alot of you guys can do. Since in my school we just ha dsome testing for it.
I'm 14, 142lbs and 5'9 and i did 35 nonstop.
I saw many people my age couldnt even reach ten which i dont understand.
Are they really that hard?
So how old are you, whats your heights/weight and how many can you do nonstop.
Be Honest
Thanks
195lbs, 5'9. Too many.
Didn't know we were the same height, brb gaining 15 lbs.
@fradddd: didn't mean any harm, just wanted to help.
Wow most of you guys can do 50+ and i can only do 35
i gotta step up my game. But im 14 too so i got time to get stronger
Pushups are a horrible measure of strength, if you want to measure upper body strength then start bench pressing.
I'm first a rower so no bull if ur wondering why I'm so strong. 5'6 140 pounds and I usually stop at 110 pushups cause it gets so boring but if I tried maybe around 130 ish I can do.
None maple is life. no time to work out. jk
OT: Im like 5'6 150 pounds but i can pump out 40 easily. Ive hit 80 before but pushups arent my thing. i can do situps and crunches for hours though
1 with great struggle. After that I call it quits and go back to the computer. xD

50+ most likely, I don't do til failure because when I do push ups which is usually at the gym I would do weight ones like putting a 45lbs plate on my back
i can do 1/2 a push up.
17, 6'4 I can do 45 push ups max. I stopped working out recently to study for finals which I have next week.
Forgot I'm 180 lbs

im 13, 100 lbs 5'6''
I can do 20 push ups, and I can also do 20 pull ups... (people think its really weird i cant do more push ups considering how many pull ups i can do)
Pesidential fitness testing... (If thats the kind of testing youre talking about)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL-l4bZCkAw I got around 2minutes

15, 115 lbs, 5'2"
The last time I did push-ups was almost a year ago for a fitness test in P.E. Only felt like doing ten because I didn't want to stay in front of the whole class. I can probably do about 15-20 before I start quivering or collapse. I never do any weight/strength training, mostly just cardio
16, 112 lbs, 5'7
I can do 25 pushups nonstop and 15 pull ups. I mostly run so yea, I really need to gain muscle... </3
@Msjazz did I say I want to do more? I didn't think so.
I don't know what negatives are, but yeah obviously I'm trying to think of ways to lose weight.
16, 205 lbs., 5' 8"
I think I can only do like 15.
My arms really, really suck compared to my body weight. I can't do 1 pull up.
do a lot of negatives and try losing some weight.
16, 205 lbs., 5' 8"

14, 125lbs , 5'8 45-50 push ups non stop
18, 150 lbs., and 6 ft. and I can do somewhere around 60-70 without stopping.
Around 30 going slowly.
@KaoBolin: Wow really but i have naturally big arm and chest muscles so im really strong for my age
31, 150 lbs, 5'11. I can do about 30 real ones in a row bleh. By real ones I mean your torso has to be close to the ground when it's lowered, and also not to do the pushups too fast.
@nostradamus My characteristics are about the same thing as yours, the age and the height are the same but I'm like 10 pounds heavier. Anyways, I can barely do 1 push-up...
18, 5'11, 125 lbs
I can do like 10 without stopping at the moment.
16, 5'8, 115lbs
I'm surprised I can do 20.
I'm 22 5'9" and 145lbs. Last time I checked I did 113 without stopping.
16, 5'4, 90lbs.
I can do around 15 without break. I used to be able to do around 35.

18, 5'7, 127lb. Probably at least 60 pushups nonstop. Haven't really done them nonstop since high school.
5"11, 165, about 45. I practice push-ups every night in sets of 25 so I'm getting better haha
I'm 5'10, idk how many lb's, i'm 17.
Last time i tried was 3 weeks ago, i did 60 without stopping.
I can do an average of 25 in a minute. I don't think I've ever tried to do as many as I could with no time limit though. Just how much in one minute.
um, im really weak when it comes to strength training
21, 5', 40 kg -- i can do about 5 consistently, after that i start to quiver.
I did 30 for the fitness test in gym a few days ago. 140 lbs 5'8
6' 180lb
the most i can remember was like 50, i doubt i can even half of that now
@nostradamus: i just realized you're 14, im going to hide in shame now </3
