Kms Probability Released
http://maplestory.nexon.com/MapleStory/Page/Gnx.aspx?URL=Guide/ItemInfo_Decoration
Breakdown:
First tab:
1. Boxes that gives random items in cs (similar to bday boxes?)
Normal=25% (Why is Ink/Wash rings in here?)
Senior=60%
Top rated=15%
2+3 Not in GMS
Second tab:
Pandora's box (Philobook kinda thing)
Other monster life/incubator stuff
Third tab:
1. Royal hair
Varies with the stuff in royal.
80% chance of "normal" hair (4 of these per gender)
20% chance of "rare" hair (2 of these per gender)
There are 2 "rare" female hair-- one of which is Soprano Hair so it has a 10% chance. P(x)=0.2*0.5=10% chance of getting one of these
(Same for Male. An example of a male one would be the Ultra Bubble Hair)
There are 4 "normal" female hair (Foxy Tail Hair is an example) P(x)=0.8*0.25=20% chance of getting one of these
(Same for male. An example of a male one would be the Round Hair. Look it up on mapleme since I can't find it in any recent royals.)
So if you're royaling for Soprano Hair, it takes an average of 33k NX to get it
2) Royal face (all faces have the same probability)
3) Reg hair (all colors have the same probability)
Cube's probability was left out due to a loophole
Not the greatest translation but you should be able to get the point
This is from 2~3 days ago so there might be a thread already...

translated the others to check if its stuff i wanted and nope...
no gach/marvel/inner ability/cubing :C rip
@fairystories: If that's the loophole, then they're at the very least required to post the probability of getting each potential line.
What about ranking tier ups? That's a gamble.
The cube description says that it reconfigures an item's potential. You're not guaranteed a tier-up, but you are guaranteed that any cube you use will reset an item's potential so it's not really "gambling". That's the loophole.
That is not true. Cube reconfigure stats. Random stats maybe, we count it as a gamble, but probably according to the law there its not a gamble- you have stats and get different stats.
Unlike boxes or coupons which states clearly that you use a coupon/box and get a random Hairstyle/Item.
Ya, but probably not in the law.

Not even surprised that they somehow slithered out of sharing cube rates.
Lol, it's not like we actually need Nexon to give us cube rates. We already know that the rates are like 3-5% chance to leg with red cubes, 5-10% with black cubes from adding up our cubing numbers since the last better maple patch.
Most people just don't consider how insane paying $20 for leg+$50 for good stats per item is. And this isn't even considering bonus potential, scrolling, and enhancing. It's common for end-game perfect items to go for over $100.

2+3 is in GMS =,= monster life is the monster farm thing that u probably dont do..
pandora's box is just a rip off the fairy tears/philo books etc..its just has a diff name
Nexon releasing there cube rates is like finding out whats really in McDonalds.
I'm going to take a long shot and assume that marvel works similar to the pandoras box in that all items are by class: Since marvel has way more prizes though, individual percents per the special prizes are probably slim to none
Assuming marvel:
normal item - revolution crap, scrolls, random cs stuff
rare item- tinkers box, 3 cube bundles, more high end uncommon stuff
epic item - tyrants?
special item - 1 mil points, titanium heart, lgrs, ect
Same could be said for hair coupons though, no? The boxes too, as they aren't really a gamble. It's not like there's a chance to get nothing.

Probably the biggest and most important game wise gamble of all..
Ya, but probably not in the law.
omfg I feel betrayed that there's "rare" and "normal" royal hairs i thought they were all equal all this time... my probability calculations were all wrong!
i was really looking forward to just how ridiculous cubing was. i'd love to hear how they justified that cubing wasn't gambling. this is one of those things where i just have to assume nexon paid off some korean politician to get them a loophole because it seems to good to be true for nexon that their top money maker that is indeed gambling somehow snuck through the new laws. i don't really know how they could sneak through it. every single cube you use offers a new set of stats. you'd think that they would have to at least release the tier up stats, but i doubt they'd want everyone to know that it's something like 2%
Well probably because you don't win anything from it (like a prize or something, you simply change the potential) it doesn't count as gambling.
Probably because hair and items from cs boxes are counted as "items of materealistic value" while cubes hans out numbers.

What about inner ability?
Not even surprised that they somehow slithered out of sharing cube rates.

Thanks for sharing.
Huh, so there are hairs that are harder to get :o I guess that explains why I never got Soprano in all of my Royals.
Though then again, the 2 times that I gifted coupons to my friends, both of them got Soprano. 1st try.
The only one that mattered wasn't given...
Does KMS have marvel machine?
I just love how they didn't include cubes.
what did u expect u derp they have to make profit somehow
Dude seriously wth is your problem? stop harassing people..
Absolutely disgusting. I can't believe I'm still playing this game. </3 </3
what did u expect u derp they have to make profit somehow
I don't think this is in GMS but it's very similar to those small/large b-day boxes we saw a while back
Oh okay gotcha. Thanks for clarifying
I don't think this is in GMS but it's very similar to those small/large b-day boxes we saw a while back

Well you quoted everything I posted.
They released the probability for surprise boxes, monster life incubators and royals basically.

What the hell is this lol?
Gaming companies in Korean are required to release their probability for the gambling aspect of their game now.
"This" is the release from KMS
