I was wondering, has any of you guys attempted to cosplay as their character?

I was thinking about it for Comic-Con but I'm only going one day so I want to enjoy it instead of wearing a costume.
Edit: And I'd probably get all super perfectionist over the weapon. XD
I'm missing a hat, a claw, a jacket, and my pants.
I have all of them right now. Except the earrings. And I need some sort of gel that makes the hair glazed so that it will shine like light bulbs.

how do you get your eyes to look like that?
No idea where I can get the goggled attached to the hat. Nor the staff.
I'm missing a red hat, a red dress, and a plunger.
I have the mustache and shoes though.
