Do you think dreams mean anything?
Like do you ever wonder if your dreams mean something about your subconscious or do you just disregard them as nothing?

sometimes they are gibberish. most of the time probably i think
but i think occasionally they will reveal your inner desires if you pay attention
People have studied that dreams are like the brain's way of processing the information you learn when you're conscious. Like a background process that helps you understand things. They did this thing where they had someone play a skiing video game, and they sucked at it, so they had him sleep for a night and then try again, and he improved.
They've done similar experiments much earlier than that one that depicted comparable results.
Sleep and dreaming in general are interesting topics. Some earlier dream theories suggested that dreams themselves were just the active portions of the lower brain (I wont go into specific structures for a few reasons) randomly firing off messages while the individual is sleeping. While these streams of signals would be occurring, your semi-active cerebral cortex (upper or outer-brain; essentially has to do with processes like awareness, thought, etc.) works to makes sense of them, thus producing dreams. However, as more recent studies would show (e.g. the types that Omegathorion brought up), the process of dreaming may actually serve a more active and beneficial role in the general process of sleep.
That said, I seriously doubt that there's any greater "meaning" behind dreams. The first theory I described is what I generally tend to think of our actual perception in respect to remembered dreams while taking the second into account as the actual effect and/or purpose of said dreams.

I almost always wake up after REM phase is completely over, so I have almost no dreams that I recall enough to interpret.
They don't predict anything, but they have something to do with your subconscious mind and your thoughts. Hard to experiment with it though, since I rarely dream anymore...
They reflect what's in your mind. Nothing to make a big deal of, although in the short-time you can feel really affected by them.
Very rarely, my dreams show me visions of the future sometimes. Not sure how it's possible, but it's a very scary thing actually.
geez I hope not, everyone in my dreams die
i'm not sure...
i just had a very morbid dream recently and i'm afraid of what it might mean
i hope they mean something
Dreams. My Friend. Are your goals. Without them. You would be nothing.
Absolutely not. They're just randomly generated images in your head based off the thing's you went through and experience through life.
Things you dream about could be based off of something you fear or worried about or something that's been on your mind for awhile.
