Imagine Nexon did this to hackers

http://www.dailydot.com/esports/bot-ofl-legends-league-of-legends-hackers/

LOL. Too bad Nexon's too busy counting $$$$

Fave: "Even worse, they were told that the malicious code also sent in-game names and regions to an external website, something that could potentially lead to them getting banned."

Tl;dr: Ppl who used a bot/hack program got their compooters/laptops reformatted, and their IGNs recorded and sent to some other location for punishment supposedly.
EDIT: Don't burn me bc Maplestory is different from LoL, I know nothing of compooters.
EDIT 2: Woops I misread, the bot site made a coding error and screwed their customers, not Riot.
EDIT 3: I think this might be in the wrong section... I just noticed. Woops!

I'm still shocked that pizza slice owners do a better job than nexon. They ban scammers, hackers, botters permanently. Quickly at that.
Unless it is explicitly stated in their TOA, isn't that illegal? Sure, hacking is cheap and all, but intentionally messing with someone's private property sure is a step to the next level.

Almost like breaking a car window because the person cheated in poker. Hypothetically speaking, of course.
It wasn't Riot, it was the bot-service provider. I made a mistake and thought it was Riot, just to be clear.

At least this will discourage the cheaters, especially for the ones who haven't backed up their files meaning they would have to redownload all the files they had originally. Oh, such satisfaction, GG!

No matter what the company said, that wasn't a glitch in the code. You don't "glitch" and reformat a drive, you have to do that intentionally
