My first game was Mario Party 3 - Nintendo 64. There were also Kirby : The Crystal Shards, Paper Mario and Namco Museum.
Awwn... my childhood games. I still remember the good times. <3 But my interest for electronic games turned to computer games at the age of 8.
Nice to know someone else started on the Sega Genesis as well ^_^. I think my first game on there was the Animaniacs (Good show as well) and I also had Sonic on there and Jurassic Park.Good times....good times...
Yeah man, I had Jurassic park aswell. Was it the one where you had the little electric gun thingy and it had like the 3D raptor parts inside the buildings? I loved that game, but never made it very far because it didn't save xD

I wasn't rich like everyone else so we had this "Power Joy" with a bunch of reskinned and shortened versions of N64 games (I think?)
You know one of those "80 games in one" things. Famicom clone.

Yep this is it: http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Limited-Edition-Cartridges-Plug-Play/dp/B003LDHT1Q
Apparently Nintendo did not like these companies at all and it lead to legal issues...? OH YES! I remember Pandamar was an awesome game. It was like Mario but kinda hacked I guess.

EDIT: seriously, how did nobody else have something like this...
I do remember also playing games on lego.com when they had good flash games. Now they're all just reskinned versions of existing flash games. I used to play Junkbot, some racing game set in a big Lego store, some dinosaur game...those were the days.
psshhh who said u had to stop, get emulators for those systems and download the roms. i still play sonic 3 and kuckles all the time on my laptop.
Psh, who needs an emulator, I still have most of my old consoles lol. Genesis, ps1, n64, gb, gba, etc. (dreamcast & gamecube were stolen and I never bought new ones though). I have nostalgia playthroughs of games a few times a year. Even better when you go years without playing them and start to forget what happened slightly lol.

It was either Super Mario Sunshine or Mario Kart Double Dash. All I know for sure is that the GameCube is the first game console I've ever owned.

I remember i had a famicon and used to play Donkey Kong (that game where you control jump man and rescue the girl by jumping barrels thrown at you).
I think i also played Duck Hunt and some racing game (not mario kart). Those were probably my first games, unless you count Tamagochi.

I'm really don't remember very well, it must have been any games from my dad's NES, so my first games were Kirby Adventure, Lode Runner, SMB, Bomberman, and a few others.

My first video game was asteroid on the Atari, but I don't really count that because, that console was near the end of it's lifespan by the time I got one lol.

So if not counting that, my first game was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis.

@SilverFoxR I know how you feel with that one lol.

The first game I ever owned was Super Mario Bros. 2 on my first console, the NES. Back in the day, we had an old, cheap and small black and white TV to play it on, but we eventually went out and got a really nice colour TV cheap to play games on. Used it until I had my own TV in my room (and got an N64 not too long after). The old colour TV still works and for the longest time, we had the NES and SNES hooked up to it with an RF adaptor (didn't have AV cable setup for that TV).

When I look back on what I said, I feel pretty dang old... most of you weren't a glimmer in your parents' eyes then... wow >.<'''
