If Men Played Womens Roles In Ads?
Seeing men like this is ridiculous... so why isn't it with women?

Lol, I'm of the idea that men and women are different and believe this push for gender neutrality to be nonsense, but the video didn't speak to me at all. Actually if you were to not label "original", I honestly wouldn't be able to discern between the two.
@standknight I'd say what makes it ridiculous in this video is because the men are trying to act exactly like the women, instead of doing things a woman would see and go "oh that's sexy."
Like in the third one, the guy is doing exactly what the woman was, like sticking his chest out, but that looks weird, because male breasts aren't sexualized enough to even be covered, yet alone flaunted. He even did a hair flip, even though he has no hair to flip. He should have been flexing his muscles or slowly thrusting, for it to make more sense. So, to me, the video was more humorous than proving a point.
I mean, I get what they were going for, companies use sexy women to grab the attention of potential male customers in their ads, but why doesn't it happen the other way around. It just doesn't quite have the impact they were going for sadly lol.

Ehmm, alright?
@WontPostMuch I'm fluent in english, but it's not my native language, might have a problem getting the idea out of some stuff. Either way, I don't get what you were trying to say, and asked you to put it bluntly, because your post is ironic and unclear to me. Wanna say it, fine, don't want to say it and want to insist on that I am embarrasing myself, fine too. Don't have the need to know why you, some angsty teen in the internet just like me, thinks it's stupid. Seriously, I don't care as much as you do, if I understood or not what you said. Can call me a as long as the discussion is worthwhile
But that isn't the case, leave it at that, cheers. See you around basil.
That isn't the case though, so leave it at that, cheers. See you around basil.
@WontPostMuch cherrypicking what you want to answer, yeah, it's fine, I'm embarrasing myself, whatever, can't care less lol

Well, see here's the super embarrassing part. I actually did say why your post was dumb. But here's the thing, you have to actually use your brain read between the lines to get what I'm saying about your comment. I know it must be hard for you to understand and that's okay, but trust me on this, I gave a number of reasons why I was mocking your comment. I'm sorry your reading skills are so abysmal.

Can you not read? Wait, I'm sorry I asked. Obviously you can't. I never said I was embarrassing you. Quite frankly, you don't need me for that to happen. Case in point, you failing to properly read my comment once more.
@WontPostMuch Oh, you like to think you are embarrasing me? that even matters to you? haha alright whatever
you're saying my post isn't reasonable, I invite you to say why, you ignore and say you made it blunt and obvious, errrrh
@WontPostMuch: seems like a pretty ironic comment that doesn't say a thing, if you have something to say, do so.
I did. Maybe you should try working on your reading comprehension and ability to decipher the underlying nuances of what is said before accusing someone of not providing anything worthwhile to the conversation. I tried making this comment as blunt and obvious as possible just in case you were planning on embarrassing yourself again.
@WontPostMuch: seems like a pretty ironic comment that doesn't say a thing, if you have something to say, do so.
Edit: and yes, what I said is obviously is a over the top example to get the point across. Think you'd be able to tell.
OH NO SEXISM
.
. Nothing to do with that, we're different, suck it up.
Genders DO ACT different, what's attractive in a gender isn't in the other, hell, why don't we start using bikinis, oh poor us breast in man isn't sexualized, it's soo unfair we're not the same!
Seems like a perfectly reasonable, well-balanced and insightful response to the video. Clearly this guy has no issues whatsoever and reacts to things that challenge his worldview in a rational and cool manner.

it's not weird for women because we're used to placing them in roles such as those.
we've seen women play such roles over, and over.. and over..
.. and I only found the last ad to be super weird.
the rest of them weren't that weird.
I dont think its weird at all actually
How bout music videos too...here's a prime example (try and guess it!)

As long as people look different, they will be treated differently.
I doubt that this will ever change.
i love reading the comments on gender-critical videos, like people are so loyal to one side of the argument that they'll "like" anything that even remotely agrees with their worldview, for example
Why isn't it the same? Because with a woman, we oooooh and aaah at them. With men, we just laugh. Seeing woman streaking is provocative, seeing a man streaking is funny, or something to laugh at.
Sorry but, men and women are different and are treated differently. We have exceptions of course, but I'm just generalizing and talking of stereotyp
this guy says absolutely nothing insightful but you just know the three people that were offended enough by the video to like this bull honkey comment sat back in their chairs with a sense of satisfaction for supporting their team, and it's just so funny to imagine the kind of person that would do that
Mainly because those ads were made by men and were meant mostly to appeal to men.
because you're being sexist and assuming all males act masculine
if we viewed that enough then we would feel it was normal
