It's actually true... Not everyone is as humble as you think^, especially when I know like 10-20 MIT under&gradstudents from high school
lmao there you go with your ego again. it's too funny because if you actually go to MIT you would be humble.
it also makes you realize that society values smarties that dont try so hard to show off to people on the internet.
btw i don't go to MIT but i go to a good enough school that people turn down ivys for. i'm not going to tell you because i dont care enough to tell the internet what school i go to.
what it comes down to is, you're not as big shot as you think you are.
lol turn down ivys cause they're too poor to afford it
thats cool i dont care cause nobody in MIT is actually as humble as u think.
Going to Harvard medical school hopefully... My senior friend just got his acceptance letter 2 nights ago (4x Class president, & bunch of ECs & Community work) and he was surprised to get in too =.=
Anyways MIT EA is out... 2 people got in from my old summer camp and 1 deferred

@Reasonable : We have four higher education systems in California: private schools, University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), and California Community College (CCC). Stanford and USC are private schools. UCLA and UC Berkeley are part of the 11 UC campuses.
@Reasonable : USC isn't part of the UC system.
On that note, if anyone is applying to the UC system, feel free to PM me with questions .
@Reasonable:. Ohhay. Yeah, I know haymar too.
@Reasonable: Ooh, I know a couple of people in Lag. I haven't spoken to any of them in years. And I never really spoke to them anyway. But I know who they are!
TS wants to go to the UCs You 2 would be good friends.
If anyone's going to Auburn next semester, send me a PM. I'd be happy to show y'all around
@Reasonable: Well in that case... What college are YOU going to, Reasonable?
And off-topic: If you're Asian, then you're beautiful c:
@Reasonable: Better question: are you Asian?
@ChildsPlay: I don't get it o_o
OMG HAYMAR! MY BOY HAYMAR! I LOVE THIS KID! He's in my Calc class, and we had English together Freshman year. He sucks at calc lmao.

@supernoob : does anybody from Stuyvesant ever go to conservatories?
Oh do you know a senior named Haymar? I believe he's half Mexican half Korean.
I thought this was a thread about colleges we were accepted to this year.
@Irony:
If you went to MIT, you'd at least know some stuff about MIT. (And your post, frankly, sounded fake)
1) Name 5 food places from the student center.
2) What buildings are linked to the infinity corridor?
3) How do you get to the red line from the main dome?
you're sooooo cool. posting in this thread just to tell everyone you go to MIT.
have more ego please.
if you go to a good school you'd show it off too
but quite obviously you dont
That's where I got accepted. I live in Georgia and the only financial aid I applied for was a FASFA form. Out of state tuition is too expensive, so the only places I could go to were between Georgia tech and Southern Poly. annnnd- living in Atlanta is rather expensive as well. My parents weren't the best off financially, so I went to SPSU for my first semester, might shack up with some buds for sophomore year at Tech and I will most likely do my grad work in either Boston or Pasadena since I have relatives near both and will be able to claim residency for lowered tuition; but, if everything works out and I get a career in software developement off the internship I have, when I graduate and work for a year, my company will sponsor my education. This is all in the utmost seriousness, no trolling.
Wow, congrats, that's great news! I'm an MIT grad student, I'm hoping for the same. My scholarships from various organizations paid off most of my tuition and my office of internship will probably pay off the rest since I've been working with them for nearly three years. I'll probably also join them as an associate after I get both of my Master's in the Spring or Summer.
@radkai: what? cheezy has a crush on taylor? oooh boi u got some competition. i understand why you feel bad now.
@mechibi: Cheezzy must feel bad from this sentence.
@radkai: me too. i hear Taylor swift is after this guy in 1D. you gotta admit taylor is hot. if they get married they will make cute babies.
@mechibi: Cheezzy assumes any Asian girl on the internet is beautiful until proven otherwise.
That's just plain false!
I assume any Asian girls is beautiful, whether or not she's on the internet!
@mechibi: I look forward to the wedding!
@radkai: atleast hes thinking positively ^__^
@mechibi: Cheezzy assumes any Asian girl on the internet is beautiful until proven otherwise.
@radkai: i wont. i dont like tea. efff tea bags <__< -trying to think innocently-
@RugbyBall: Not really. I'm a horrible writer, lol. I'm sorry if I offended you, but I really didn't intend to hint at it twice.
@mechibi: Possible maybe. Hope you enjoy!
@radkai: ....tbag? ;_;
@mechibi: So you and Totos r BTech female freshies. Cheezy's gonna bag.
@Cheezzydude: -special- ;D
wahh so many smart ppl ;__;
-goes to btech and is in the 9th grade-
DAM U STUY PPL. IF YOU SEE SOMEONE NAMED BHOMIK, BULLY HIM PLEASE. IF YOU SEE SOMEONE NAMED SANBIR THEM TELL HIM I SAY HI. THEY ARE FRESHIES
@supernoob: @Cheezzydude: @Radkai:
I know a guy whose last name is Bhomik. But he's a senior. I don't know any freshmen lol. You and Totos are probably the only freshmen who are worth my time
@RugbyBall: I make no assumptions. How the is that an insult? Yes, I don't know who you are, so I just listed out all the possibilities and included bad time management especially because I have trouble with that at times too.
Your HS GPA beyond merit scholarships means nothing in college.
"Success is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration."
Most people aren't born gifted in any way. You can definitely work your way up. Don't limit yourself by having the mindset that other people are "gifted." Minus maybe a few autistic kids or kids that have incredible memory/problem solving skills without any neurological diseases, everyone had to work their way up too.
@supernoob: omgomgomg yes him. hes so fiking annoying and he stinks. he studied for the shsat for YEARS. then when he got in he thought it was cuz he was smart. in reality it was just a shiizzz ton of studying. and the studying for this is repetive. more like memorizing and learning tips to help you.
@xFaceless: If it makes you feel any better, I'm applying to UBC, UToronto, and McGill if I don't get into my unis 8D. One more day~
@mechibi: Tanumaya? And many stuy kids are farrrrr from smart. Just saying.
@Rozhin: o:
UNBC for example asks for current marks, and "predicted" course marks for 2nd semester.
which.. I find kind-of weird 'cause how the hell are you supposed to "predict" a mark for a course you haven't taken yet?
mmm. iunnoo. :c
@Rozhin: Nope!
A lot of them want your mid-term marks though.
WHERE ARE THE CANADIANS?
mahgoodness
I went through seven pages of comments without a canadian uni or whatever mentioned.
ohmahgoahsdgahfddf.
k.
.. i'm better now.

@supernoob: @Cheezzydude: @Radkai:
@RugbyBall: You're going to see high school attitude everywhere :x. And are you really that caught up with work? You might just be in a school that has really cut-throat academics or you're not managing your time well enough. (Not saying you necessarily aren't, but you might be).
Good luck getting into my school MIT
You probably wont get in
you're sooooo cool. posting in this thread just to tell everyone you go to MIT.
