I want to learn Japanese, and I want to polish up my french. I can have a proper conversation in french but sometimes I find myself looking for words or I mess up on the grammar.
Spanish is also something I'd like to learn not really because I find it interesting but because it'll probably be really useful.
last summer i tried teaching myself mandarin. This summer i'm going to work on my korean and probably french but i'll focus mainly on korean.
Or i could go back to learning mandarin. Who knows. whatever i feel like.
want to learn chinese, japanese, korean, french, spanish, portuguese
Been taking French in school and will study it intensively in switzerland this summer.
I got a Hebrew book as a gift from a relative. In 3 days learned how to read it fairly well ^^
Did Italian all through primary and up to year 10, but I can barely speak it now haha
Learning Japanese, learned French and English, want to learn Korean.
I would love to learn Japanese and Russian.
I'm learning Spanish atm. At my middle school we had to take a language and I didn't wanna do Latin, French, or Chinese, and I've gotten really good at it, so I'm going to continue up to AP Spanish and whatever I can take in college.
braille.
i want to read @imwanta's body like braille.
Learning German and French.
Going to quit French once school year is over though. I'm only learning it because I have to take a French course at school and I don't want to flunk it.
Chinese cuz I'm Chinese
I've learned some Korean from watching 192 episodes of Running Man
Learning German.
@1kevqn: except that's not how the world works. In most scenarios, both parties will something that the other side wants, mainly money for service or money for product transactions. You're missing out on tons of business if you just want to ignore an entire demographic. If you're fine with that, then alright but there's a reason why companies value having employees that know more than one language.
I'm somewhat fluent in Spanish and French and I'm seeking to learn Italian pretty soon.
And from watching anime all my life, I know the most basic of basic Japanese speech. Kawaii~
@1kevqn You do realize in the job world you will have to open up to cultures, whatever job it may be. And considering Spanish is a rising language in the United States, it's best to get on it.
You might have an opinion, but can an opinion get you money in life? Probably not in America.
I was teaching myself Korean before, but I got really lazy with it and forgot a lot sadly.
I'd like to try learning it again, though.
I was teaching myself Korean but then she left me.
I'd pick Portuguese.
No language, I live in the US so there's no reason to learn another language IMO
pretty nice thing to have on your resume especially if you're going to be dealing with people, because we all know that not everyone is fluent in English (yes, i know your opinion on this).
OT: going to try to learn mandarin eventually
