Ego and Funding

Do you think there is a correlation between an individual's funding and ego?

Don't get me wrong, there are humble and rude pros and noobs alike, but what is your experience with this?

I'd be a troll regardless of funding (I generally abstain on Basil). People do tend to get gassed up when they start getting a taste for more damage on their character but it doesn't tend to last.
I mean, hey. It's pretty natural when you're excited to want to tell someone about it. Problem is, people for the most part don't want to hear/care about anyone's damage but their own.

I don't think there's any correlation. I genuinely think most funded people are pretty nice. People being rude has made them jaded and less likely to help strangers.
There are a few entitlement complexes that run rampant in every server.

Then there's also the argument that this game just tends to bring out the worst in people in general....

It's kind of the example vs rich and mean and poor and nice. That's not how it always is.

I think there might be a correlation between ego and how many times a person smegas.

I'm not 2m2m but If I was I don't think i'd be a jerk or act like I was on a high-horse. I've met plenty of people who behave this way though

I was rude and nice (bias situations) when I was weak.
Once I became strong, I tried to be nice and help out the weak because I knew what it was like to be weak.
Thing I learned is, that's a waste of time.
I'll explain why before someone comments, "You just had a bad personal experience and are genuinely mean/selfish."
It's a waste of time to help the weak because that will be the only incentive for them to knowing you. Just that "guy" or "girl" who spoon feeds you gear/items/mesos/boss drops/etc. However, making new friends and figuring out whether or not they can actually fund themselves or not is a different case. If that is the case then I don't mind helping out those who are friends and don't ask for things but rather you see an opportunity to help a friend.
Now there may be flaws to this as well. There may be friends who just befriend you to gain said items/gear/boss drops/etc., and sometimes it's not so easy figuring out whether or not they are only your friend for that purpose. Just got to take that chance/risk in these type of situations and hope for the best.
It would be a complete lie if I said beggars didn't skew my judgement on helping people at all, but it's not the main reason as to why I don't just help people/come off as arrogant/egotistical.
That's my personal experience.
there could be, but most people I know who are strong don't come off as rude at all.

In my case, if someone ever feels I come off as rude it's on basil because I'm being sarcastic or milking a scenario (I don't have an ego but my money do). I'm a fairly nice person if you were to actually get to know me. However I find the most rude people sit around 14-16k stat, that's when they're staring to be strong but aren't quite there yet. That's when I see people's ego get the best of them. Those are the people who claim to be "op/godly".
i think u can have 14-16k stat at lv140 while being completely nude

Ehh.

If you're a dbag in real life...you're probably a d-bag in game.

I mean, I do see a lot of high levels not even giving the time of day to someone who isn't a high level. Especially also with 4 letter igns(even though I have one), I notice that a lot of them are aholes because they feel beyond other players because they have a "unique" name.
