I had fun on the bus even when I should have had my license like everyone else. They younger kids saw me as the king. They would literally say "Brett [me] says the sixth graders can't sit this far back so don't" and they would actually listen. I could easily kick people out of their seats too. But I wasn't really mean most of the time, I liked talking to all the kids.

Older than you and don't have one. Don't plan on getting one since there's no point since I live in the city where there's available transit almost wherever you go.

I was 19 when I got mine. I hadn't bothered all throughout high school so I ended up riding the awful bus every day. Our high school and middle school used the same bus so I had to deal with those shrieking monsters every day. It got to the point where I'd just walk home every day rather than ride with those creeps.

or b) we're all older than you think we are. I know it's *hilarious* to pretend we're all 10-12 years old, but no, we're nearly all in our late teens or 20s.

im 22 and i only have g1. failed my g2 3 times. aylmao. my family dosnt have a personal care so the only time i would learn was when i was with the instructor and he was a bad instructr, i am also a panicy driver at the time (16-19) so i am also to blame. so many toronto/canada people on basil now

Class C drivers license as soon as I turned 18.

Had a permit before that, but don't think that counts.

I got mine when I was either 19 or 20. Can't remember.

i am 23 and i do not have my driver's license and i live a block away from the dmv
i was gonna when i was 16 and i did the writing test but couldn't bring myself to go to the driving instructor bc lack of sleep/would purposely sleep through it?

motivated-ish now though so maybe will aim for the end of the year. i know the car i want and it seems to be doable so eee

I don't know what a g1 is, but I got my license a few weeks after turning 17.
Because in Coloado, you have to hold your permit for a year before you can get your license. And I got my permit a year late (after turning 16), because my parents wouldn't drive me to the DMV to take the written test...
So, I only had a car for my senior year of high school. My first car lasted about a week before getting major issues, and it took us the rest of the semester to fix it enough to sell it. I got a functioning, crappier looking car right before winter break.

I swear to God...this one girl in my yearbook class junior year always said "I wish we could go to the movies/mall/lunch but that sucks you don't have a car yet". And then after I got one, her friends started getting cars, so she usually just did stuff with them.

So yeah, my life.

i got my full license maybe near the end of sophomore year of high school or it could've been the summer going into junior year, not exactly sure. in the end it only mattered my senior year of high school because that's when i had my own car and could drive it around freely

@wanton: Honestly if you live in Toronto, it's not even needed. As traffic dt is ridiculous and the public transit is fine. Sauga and Brampton have a good transit system as well. It's only during cold weather that a car really comes in handy, and to save time. But with car cost, insurance, gas, maint, it really isn't worth it to a lot of people.

I'm 24 and only got G1 at the end of May this year. I didn't care much about driving, but I might as well do it anyways, dood.
I wish I could drive an F-Zero machine instead, dood.

Using Alberta standards, I got my Class 7 (G1 equivalent) when I was 14 (I think) and then my Class 5 GDL (G2) when I was 17

No class 5 non gdl (G) yet
