People say that this happens, but even a 1% scroll can work, or boom your item. And then you are responsible for the item's cost, innocencecing it/replacing it and having your reputation ruined. Besides the only 1% scrolls ingame are CSS, and you would be able to see that the upgrade count didn't reduce after using it anyhow.

Dilligence and guild affects trace scrolling. This has already been proven by a basiler.
Well I'm buying a unique potential two handed Fafnir sword with it fully scrolled and enchanted for 12bil. Wondering if that's normal, potential is bad but it's unique.

It's been confirmed on the official forums by Nexon themselves that it does.
I know of multiple people in Scania that will guarantee a +10 fafnir weapon with 15% traces if the clean weapon is provided. Depending on the situational cost of 10% slates in the FM, I've seen this service go for 7.5b to 15b. For reference, these prices were when 10% slates were 35m and 50m, respectively.

There have already been several threads talking about this, and the Korean maplestory site has already stated that diligence does affect trace scrolling.
