@Nashi: Game Boy and I think GBA it was A B Start Select. It just lets you reset the game without having to turn off and on the system.
@pinksinsftw: then I probably know it (though game boy doesn't have L/R xD) but I wasn't aware of it anymore
@BBD: I think I've used soft reset waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back then. I kind of remember holding all buttons for some reason but it's been too long.... (wasn't that a way to delete the old saved file on pokemon red/blue... forgot)
I also don't read manuals.. ever... I just unpack the device and use it. lol
@pinksinsftw: o___o I never even knewwwwww..... does that work with every game (GBA+up?) or just the NDS versions?
thanks for that tip o:
They tell us how to soft reset in the Manual that comes with the device.
You can do this since Gameboy days.
@Nashi: It's been there since the Game Boy.
@pinksinsftw: o___o I never even knewwwwww..... does that work with every game (GBA+up?) or just the NDS versions?
thanks for that tip o:
@Nashi: L R Start Select at the same time. Because my L button's broken, I have to press Home and choose the game every time.
@pinksinsftw: o.o"? how do you do "soft resets"?
@Nashi: I just soft reset. In Torchic's case, I was extremely lucky and got it to shine within 2 to 3 days. 8192 soft resets takes me about 3 weeks to a month depending on how many I do per day.
@pinksinsftw: How
da hell
did you manage to get a shiny starter @___________________@I never even heard of this!
Ya gonna restart the game for that or something? I can't even imagine how horribly annoying that must be but now I'm curious...
if I'll spend my first 6 months restarting the game for a shiny I will blame you.... don't be surprised if a raging German shows up on your doorstep....
@Nashi: I'm getting Fennekin as well, and being a rookie shiny hunter, I'm going to play with my luck for a shiny Fennekin. I don't really mind being behind as long as I can get another legit shiny starter (First one being Torchic).
@pinksinsftw: Never heard of Ace Attorney o.o play pokemon instead though! O: < pokemon comes first! Lol
the games won't run away anyway, just play them one after another xD
So frustrating though >; I want a 3DS now.. *snatches yours*... might as well get Kingdom Hearts for it later on.
I never even owned Diamond/Pearl, I went from Red/Blue -> Yellow -> Silver-> Crystal -> Sapphire -> Black 2 @.@
Yveltal does look nice (Rob literally called it "bamf" LOL) but I'm a complete sucker for majestic/cute pokes.
Great excuse for me, I'll just tell him to get Y since he's the one with the Y Chromosome <.<"""""" ohhhhmesosmrt
I want both legendaries eventually though >;
I also hope that the fennekin evo will look good... usually I take the water or plant type (I did take charmander in Red though ) but that's mostly cause so far those types were the cutest ones.... gonna have to settle with Fire this time T-T
@Nashi: A picture of my 3DS.
I want to play Ace Attorney 5 when it comes out, which is nearly the same time as Pokemon X/Y! A huge dilemma on what to spend my time on! My brother and I agreed to take turns when it comes to character genders.
We used to have both Diamond and Pearl, but thanks to my clumsiness we ended up losing Pearl. I think with Basildex and school going on I don't think I can handle 2 games. I do admit that Yveltal is utterly badass looking for a Pokemon, but I prefer how majestic Xerneas looks.
Eevee
Eevee
Eevee
Eevee
Eevee
In whichever order you prefer.
@pinksinsftw: So you have a 3DS? I actually talked to my Fiance about Pokemon X/Y yesterday and we both agreed we never wanted a 3DS but we will most likely get one (or two after all) just for that one game LOL Q A Q.....
I'm always a female in my games o:
and in X you should be a female (XX) Males only allowed in Y! (XY) lol!
Why don't ya just get both games though? <.<"
5: Emolga
I was going to say Emolga, but being a Flying type and unable to learn fly was a downfall.
In Black 1 I had Emolga and Swanna in my party and taught Swanna fly.
In Black 2 I found a Emolga and I was like sweet and try teaching fly I was disappointed and it was off from my favourite list.
Nidoking
Tyranitar
Aggron or Groudon
Froslass
Zekrom
Smeargle owns all
Gen 1: Gengar - It is a bad ass Pokemon, the first Ghost type, looks scary, knows deadly moves, if used right he is amazing.
Gen 2: Steelix and Scizor - Can't decided what is my fav. I use both. Steelix is being the defense guy, and Scizor being that bad ass false swipe guy.
Gen 3: Manectric - Just being only few electric pokemon in the game in Gen 3 (R/S/E) this was my powerhouse.
Gen 4: Staraptor and Luxray - Gen 4 was my favourite. There was many of my favs here. These guys were used in my party and loved them. Staraptor with close combat and brave bird was amazing. Luxray was the Pokemon I will send out when all hope was over. (My Luxray nickname was "Hero" that's how amazing her was.)
Gen 5: Victini and Bisharp - Another with a tie! Victini I can't say anything bad about it! A Psychic and Fire type! If you bought the game when it was new this guy was amazing on my team! Cute, powerful and has a cool background story behind it. Bisharp, is a cool and bad ass dude, very powerful if used right, also dark and steel is awesome elements, also his body is dangerous looking.
Gen 6: Yanchamu - This guy is a bad ass just because it is a panda and a naughty Pokemon! Also being a fighting type it will be a good person to have on your team!
@Nashi: I'm getting X even though my brother wanted Y. I'm gunna be a male character because I was female in Black 2. x.x
Speaking of Colress, I need to send you a PM.
