Perma Beginners

Any perma-beginners out there? I haven't seen one in ages (maybe like 3~4 years by now) Is there a way to become a perma beginner without accepting a job adv, or you can't become one anymore >:

I just made a perma beginner , i have no idea if this way will work with out getting any annoying message for a job but yeah.i created a dual blade and went trough all the quests until the job advancement , i started the quest and then i left the city (their is a exit portal to leave the dual blade job adv) and now i'm still beginner and i don't recieve any msg . i think it's better then making an explorer and get the job msg when you get off the boat.. enjoy

@Xenkrios: When I made my perma beginner recently I just ignored it. Just kept pushing Esc and it stopped trying to force me. After you get to lv30, it would just be the Maple Guide that keeps popping up but that's easy to ignore too.

It's not working , I have to accept the job and then while I go try to play it, the job inctructor will keep trying or force me to job adv
Right. Cause the perma beginner at lvl 244 definitely didn't leech his way there. He most definitely can OHKO the mobs at SDH and train very effectively. Any beginner over lvl 210 has leeched his way there, and most beginners over lvl 100 have leeched at some point to get where they are
As a long time Perma Beginner, I've never leeched. I don't expect to ever reach or surpass level 200 (not even on my jobbed characters), and I'm fine with that.

In response to the TS, Perma Beginners simply aren't that common anymore. I'm probably speaking for myself, but I feel that Big Bang made things harder for us to properly train ourselves.

I use to attack a lot back in the hall of honor days and provide support mules, hs, bt, or kishin, as I've got three computers.

However, I've become extremely busy with the real world so now all I can do is sit and look pretty... But yup we're still around believe it or not. =p

Well this probably doesn't count because it isn't the old-fashioned beginner, but my Hayginner is around 150 without leeching. Then again, they are pretty strong...

Can't speak for the beginners you're referring to since it is true that many leech but that is their decision. Then again, many jobbed people also leech, and that is by far more retarded in my opinion.

I aim for at least 135 (black bean set) without leeching. Hopefully I'll reach 150 though.
A lot of people still create beginners solely for the challenge. Yes, there is probably a limit to how far you can go on your own but there are still many who go that far by themselves and don't resort to leeching.

My perma beginner's still 189. I honestly gave up because of the boringness.

@Colourize and anyone else.
A Guide for anything you want to know about beginners and probably more.

PM me specific, serious questions if you have any and I'll get back to you.

To answer the original question, yes, people still play beginners and you can still create them.

What's the point honestly? Leeching and not being able to attack sound fun to you? I mean yea I guess it's for the amusement but honestly you have way too much time on your hands if you have a lvl250 beginner

Maybe "neglect" would have been a better description. Still though, no professions and no link skills, it hurts.

Hmm, you should be able to go throughout the entire maple island tutorial and then leave once it's completed without having to accept a job advancement. You have to be doing something wrong, because I saw a brand new beginner not long ago
I still had to at least accept the quest when I got off the boat in Lith. It would not stop bothering me. I'd close it down and then walk two steps and it'd pop up again.
Same thing happens if I forfeit it now and then have to go to Lith for some reason. "HELLO ARE YOU THE NEW TRAVELER WE'VE HEARD ABOUT, PLEASE CHOOSE A PATH"
Wish Nexon didn't hate beginners.
Whats so special about these beginners? They literally put no effort in leveling up anyways.
