This game was basically my childhood next to Pokemon, so many memories were forged in this game.

Arriving at Lith Harbor for the first time was a magical and unforgetable experience. The town, the snails at the outskirt, the background, the music, it was all so magical and beautifull. I seriously had no idea that MS would had so much impact on my life to this day.

when people miss old maple, they're really just missing their childhood. if we brought back old maple i highly doubt it'd hold up

In all honesty, I think people continuously come back to MS because it has such a nostalgic aura about it. This game was unique because it was made off of a community...which has been lacking in recent years, but people, especially older players from beta or a little after, still remember what it was like for Maple to be crowded and with a community. I myself sometimes feel like I cling on to this type of memory as opposed to how the game actually is right now. And I can't help it especially when I listen to the soundtracks such as the lith harbor one, henesys one, and ellinia one.

My all-time favourite is Ellinia's bgm. This is closely followed by Orbis, Ellinia Tree Dungeons, Ludibrium, maps around Ellinia general bgm and Omega Sector bgm (underrated imo Omega Sector is such a cool place) ... so yeah quite a few.

It's really hard not to get nostalgic. I just think about what really was just the good ol' times - my characters were terrible, i was poor and levelling took forever but the camaraderie definitely made up for that. It was just about having fun. It does also (but probably to a lesser extent) make me think of childhood in itself, and how there really wasn't too much to worry about...

Yeah, I feel so nostalgic whenever I hear that song, same with Henesys bgm and original login bgm. It reminds me of my elementary noob days. It's kind of a sad feeling though...

Maple story was were I got told goodnight & good morning. Even know I don't hear that as often as I did while I played maple story.
It is where I can always go to when my heart hurts. Just looking at all my characters makes me swell up with passion.

my sadest mchildhood moment when some1 i was partied wit on maple in ellinia told me his mom n dad died from a car accident aftr i asked abt his parents i cried n dropped all my mesos bt he refused which made me cry more i felt so bad 4 him i hope he is ok IMY ='~(

when i listen to them i feel all the innocence i once had. reminds me of when i used to wake up and race my brother to the computer to decide who got to play first; then we'd watch those maple videos on youtube.
