Which Thief class to pick besides Shad

Hello Basil,
I have been away from maple for about a year now and im now back and want to main a character and i decided to go with thieves. I just cant decide which one though It will in the end be funded with about 5B. Although instated besides shads. It is still ok to suggest shads just that i would need a more in detailed reasoning behind it. So which thief should i play?
Please comment and include some pros and cons for ur suggestion.
Many thanks
Shadowers are good. Meso guard is good. Hitting 2m with Boomerang Step with low funds at RnJ at level 120 is good. Most people that say Shadowers are slow and chunky don't know how to handle them as well. If you know how to handle shads, it's good. Shadower instinct skill is good. Survivability is among the best of all thieves and other classes, except for paladin. Shadowers also get shields with weapon attack and a passive shield mastery skill that adds weapon attack. I switched to DB for a couple of days and kept dying at bosses, DB's are really fragile. My shadower has never died once.
Define "low funds".
Shade is pretty fun if you're looking to spend your 5b there. I played for lols but somehow reached 16x because it was such a nice class. They have bind, nice mobbing, and are excellent bossers if you plan to fund more

Shadower would be great choice, especially being funded at only 5b. The multipliers are insane for shadower, boomerang stab at master level deals 742% damage and assassinate is around 600% with 1300% on the final hit if I'm not mistaken. On top of that, channel karma and shadower instinct both boost weapon attack greatly along with flip of the coin which can be stacked 5 times giving 10% critical each time, 5% damage each time, and raising cap. Shadower mobbing does suck a little during bandit-chief bandit stages but it will get better with boomerang step and shadow veil.

The combination of high avoid from shadow shifter, high defense, and meso guard makes shadowers tanks. I rarely use potions and if I do, it's probably during a hard boss fight, which even then, I barely use because I have smokescreen.

It's really easy to obtain 100% critical rate as a shadower as well, without having to spend tons of money. With skills like critical growth and prime critical, flip of the coin, and hyper critical, 100% critical rate is easy to achieve. It's also easy to hit 1m per line from boomerang stab at level 150 with flip of the coin.

Don't make a shadower and expect it to be as fast as a dual blade, make it and enjoy what shadower has to offer and you'll like it a lot.

Thieves are always the most popular MMO class. Appeals to our inner narutard.

Shades are pretty much built to boss, minimal rebuffs, lots of lines, animation cancel etc.

Ah i see, well i know theives are the most expensive class but as i see from thr comments its seems that with minimal funding shadower would be the best choice. I know this questions should not be here but what are ur opinion on Shades

Ah... People say you don't need damage to have fun and that you can have fun playing what you like but I disagree with them. You need some degree of strength to be able to kill stuff or else you won't be able to do half the game. Thief is definitely the worst choice in this regard seeing how you only have 5bil. You probably couldn't even buy a scrolled weapon with that.
Thief Tyrants are most expensive, our cRA is most expensive, our weapons and secondaries are most expensive and to top it off, thieves need a lot of funding to get themselves going.
However if you're still intent on playing a thief, i'd definitely go Dual Blade if you're not going shad. Dual Blades are fast and fluid and they have a variety of moves that make them an enjoyable class to play. This is coming from a Night Lord Main. Playing a Night Lord gets extremely, extremely, extremely repetitive. One move for bossing (Quad Star) and one move for mobbing (Showdown) and those are the only 2 moves you'll be using for the rest of your time as a Night Lord.
If you can't afford cilbis or furies or at the very least ilbis, den dun play dis class. Hwabis are so dam ugly. I don't get how anyone would torture themselves with them. I used them for like 10 minutes and wanted to inflict pain on myself. Disgustingggg. Especially since you see it so often with the Mark of the Night Lord constantly flying around and Quad star.

I play my thief classes without funding, imo you can play whichever you like </3
OT:
Xenon is my favorite kind of thief (if you can say that)
Lots of range increasing buffs
Energy system gives your damage a boost per thingy
Mobile (third job gives you a rocket boost skill that lets you fly up diagonally, Basic skill is a jetpack for flying but a little slow)
(Can teleport to veritas with the teleport and from there port to every city)

Cons:
Almost all your buffs require energy so you can't cast them all in one go. (Lv.150 hyperskill gives you a buff that gives you infinite energy for 30 seconds)

That's all i can think of.

DB's without funding....might as well use two tree branch twigs to attack

NL is expensive, but the good thing is...the difference between getting Hwabis(3-5m) and Cilbis/Balanced Furies(75m/175m) is so minimal, that it almost makes no sense to get anything but hwabis unless you truly have the funds and want an aesthetic look to your throwing stars. But this class got repetitive for me...spamming showdown all the time.

Shad- Probably the slowest thief class yet the defensive thief class. Also does higher damage at unfunded levels which is what you'd be considered at. Shads seem to slowly be becoming extinct, even though to me they are my favorite thief class...they are unique in my opinion...even though they've been nerfed.

from personal experience, a semi-funded (but not rly) db was a horrid experience. fast attacker and asuna was fun, but horrid. i was rly only a db to try out the class
NL is pretty expensive because you need stars as well, though hwabis will do tbh but i don't know if it can do much compared to shads. shads just do higher dmg with lower funds and last i checked, risk holder was more expensive than damascus
but so far NL has been the funnest imo because you have these flying stars thanks to assassin's mark and drop rate from showdown which could generate some $$ through farming

If you're funding a thief with 5b, not even really worth playing it.
