Let me start by saying:
Look at the game's population,It is dying(Anyone who think this is False, I can easily prove you wrong,Look at the FM)
Now...Without any 100 sentences rant or something
This is your choice,Nexon
Your player base=Dead
If you're ending the leaf event today,Many people will rage and quit,The game is already dead,Do you want to kill
It more from the inside?
What does the community asks for? Free tyrants?LGRs for everybody? All we ask is 2 more weeks
Now you're probably like,How would this help? Well..You got to admit..5 runs of Evo to farm leaves...
2 and a half hours just for maplestory..Then there's Dimensional invasion which is like hour and a half per day
You've got constant players for 4 hours every day For the next 2 weeks, Isn't that great?
Not to mention,Monopoly is like an hour a day worth of playing, Already 5 hours a day
Anyways,Straight to the point,
Benefits:
For the company:Much more active community +Saves you time removing the leaves from the game
For us,Players: just 2 weeks of constantly playing your game
So...Without much talk..Think what's Best for your Company,For your game!
But..Just incase you won't do that:
You'll get:
*Alot of angry players that will stop paying money just because of this(And we all know how much nexon loves Money)
*Players quitting,And If 1 player quits, Guess what, His friends quits too, Isn't that just great?

Like mentioned above the biggest reason why you have an additional 2 weeks is because people
complain about having extra coins at the end. Lets look at the Red event, there were a few people
who had tickets stacks still left which are useless. Lets look at every anniversary event. There are
people who still have stacks of old maple leaves. It's there for a reason, if they extend the date for
the leaves then you either forgo having an extended shop or they have to extend the shop which means
if we are supposed to get a new shop at the 24th, it won't be happening. You all had two months to farm
so if you didn't get it in two months then sorry. I honestly don't care about whether it extends or not. It's
cool if it does, it's cool if it doesn't. Not going to sweat it since if they don't extend it then you will feel such
disappointment. Ranting but it's the truth... Just hope the next shop has everything and more, and I can
almost guarantee there will be scrolls with better % in the next two shops... usually how these things go~
If anything, the people who stockpiled leaves will rq with the extension, I mean leaves will deflate like no other.

Seriously? This happens EVERY month and nothing happens.
As others have already stated, the event for collecting leaves was meant to end on this day. Why would people want to quit over something like this? You're also complaining as if though Nexon shortened the event period. Not everyone you speak of plays Maple constantly just because of the leaves. "A lot of angry players that will stop paying money over this." Why would they stop paying money for Nexon because an annual event ended? Right from the start Nexon stated that the event would end on this specific day on the notes, so don't rant over it just because you haven't had enough and expect a lot of people to empathize with you.
Noone cares. the event was already stated to end today. they extended some other events so you can thank them for that. I don't know a single person except for probably you who will rage quit because nexon followed their schedule.

My mother said to me 'Don't ever smoke, Please don't put your family through what your grandfather put us through." I agreed, at 22, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway.
You're being pretty selfish, the reason they change events this often is to prevent things from getting repetitive, which is one of the actual main reasons people quit the game.
The problem with Maplers is that they try to predict and deduct things they don't have the full details of. Claiming "People will quit if you don't do this" as if your logic considers all the facts playing. Why would people quit if a temporary event shop is taken away on the day that it was supposed to be taken away? Or rather, the ability to get the currency for it.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind a few more days for the shop, but when presenting Nexon with an issue make it sound good. They need to take you seriously. The moment you say crap like that they're already less likely to considering what you're saying.
You knew the event was going to end on the 10th since the beginning. Ending the leaf event now will not affect their player base at all, and it would actually hurt it more if they extended the drop date due. anyone with a brain invested in huge amounts of leaves because it's pretty obvious the price will increase once they stop dropping, but with an extension their value would not increase at all. I made 5b last night from selling a small portion of my leaves for 25-30k each
This event has gone on long enough, it was great while it lasted. It gave both the funded and less funded people benefits of playing. My friend went from 26k to 117k this event from collecting leaves and selling it, buying better equips and using it. It makes sense that the leaves would stop dropping before the shop is gone. This is a perfect way to get rid of all your leaves.

They didn't really extend anything only the shop which is almost always extended.
You shouldn't try to strong arm nexon because they will win in the end....
What about them maple addicts that didn't spend a second farming leaves and are the ones whom buy the win over playing for 50+ hours with some mindless tedious event?
It was advertised as until June 10 from the start. They decided to extend some things afterwards but didn't include leaves in the list. It's not as if there was no warning. The event lasted for a month-anniversary month (the whole point of the event). That's a good amount of time for farming and scrolling. It has to end some time, you and I should start soon and those drops as well. The community will stay active when they have new things to do.
If they don't remove leaves now they will have to at one point. Honestly, it's not even a hastle to remove simple coding like that.
Why would you quit because an event ended when it's supposed to? It's not like they shortened it. They've done way worse quitworthy things. This isn't going to be the straw that broke the camel's back. If you quit because you didn't get your way, an extension because you feel owed it, good ridance.

Not everyone spends money over this game nor does anyone get that infuriated enough to stop spending money over this game entirely due to the ending of a few maple leaf drops (especially since the shop was intended to leave on the 10th along with everything else BUT extended so we had longer grace time to use all our leaves)

Again not such a big deal to quit over. Nor is it a big deal that one of your online buddies decided to quit anyway.
One reason I'm glad they aren't extending leaves is botters & the skyrocketing leaf prices over the next fortnight
I don't want hackers/botters to benefit from this; no way
