One roll back actually saved me.

Someone hacked my friend who was holding and scrolling my dkhanjar at the time. One if the many rollbacks in one week actually saved it and we regained possession of it and I took hold of it to make sure the hacker didn't try to take it again.

Good times.

Golden Temple dropping GM 100% Glove Attack scrolls. Still mad at myself for selling mine immediately for like 500mil.

Future Henesys dropping placeholder equipment, which has become collector items. (Since, although they were extremely common, the commonality caused most people to toss them. Then over the years, they naturally started vanishing into abandoned accounts or dropped even more.)

That one time when a gm accidentally put his login information at the top of the screen.

To me it was the week full of rollbacks. That was some good fun.

I remember this one event where you could make mules, level them and get some free scrolls that were really good... I felt the game was so freaking broken

not actually fixing problems has been their biggest mistake

re-bot and potential is their biggest mistake.

Not sure, if anybody mentioned this, but ruining buccaneer skills goes on the top of my list.

@genostigma i remember getting a random rare-potted lv 70 thief hat and trying to use another 70% potential scroll on it... hahaha little did I know they had just introduced the most gamebreaking change of all time

But my # 1 is...like TS mentioned.
1) countless compromised accounts because of MTS account info leak (leading to many people quitting)
2) Nexon not admitting to it.
3) The introduction of Potentials (without giving any explanation of what this new potential was used for) and Potential 90% scrolls which lead to many people booming their godly gear (again leading to many people quitting the game)
4) The f**q-up of my IGN transfer during the name change event. Coupon (10k) did not go through and my IGN got sniped. F**q U Nexin!

merging with broa and becoming broni is #2 after ign change event for the best descisions nexon has ever made, 4 irl friends all played in broa but I was in khaini now its all the same, god bless nexon. God bless broni.

@krylonems And you can. He said OLD european accounts are no longer blocked from global MS. We're talking about an incident in mid-2007 where Nexon accidentally blocked all of the european players for an entire day, old and new accounts, despite announcing that old players would keep their accounts and be able to play.

I remember that the notes said old players would be able to access their accounts, but once the servers went up ALL Europeans were IP blocked for like a day before Nexon said anything about it at all. It was a huge crapstorm.

@ashleyattacked: Old european accounts are not blocked anymore, it was only for a short while back in 07. If you account is older than May 2007, you can play still it from Europe. Or at least I think it's May 07. Mine's from like Nov 2006 and I can still play it from Norway

Trust me, you're not missing anything with us gone. I'm pretty sure that Nexon did it intentionally because Europeans suck and make horrible friends. Trust me, I would know - I hate myself. The only reason I got through the cracks is because I moved to North America so that I could keep playing Maplestory. They almost got me one time...when the GM tried to figure out if I was a European I thought he was flirting with me so I said 'Los Angeles' hoping to be his girlfriend.

that time a nexon employees account information was stolen. The user smegad nonstop, even showed off the gm hat and stuff.

Who remembers when hackers spawned a custom NPC in major towns like Henesys that turned whoever clicked on it into a Phantom that couldn't do anything. Glorious times

I don't remember exactly what happened but there was a time when people could donate negative mesos to the donation boxes in town. That might not have been Nexon's fault, but the idea is so ridiculous it makes me laugh.
