Don't care much for band of thieves because we can already 1 hit mobs now (I only used band of thieves to safe spot which is the reason why i liked chief bandit) BUT THAT ASSAULTER! Even yesterday, i jumped off a plate form early trying to use assaulter, and the second i fell down i had this face> -_-

Assaulter is definitely a skill I miss. It made it so fun to train at Typhons pre-BB.

The PUME sound BoT made was great haha, loved it.

shadowers dont really have any cool combinations anymore

I don't really like shads after red. I know we didn't get many changes but I don't like sinate anymore and idk the play style doesn't feel as fluid anymore. I'm might be stripping it to fund my mage more

Bot was amazing because not only was it super fast that u were able to use it between boomerang step but also because it hit monsters behind you. It was like someone trying to sneak up on you and you gave them a back hand punch without looking. Assaulter also had many great uses like platforming while hitting a monster, Dodging hits to slicing through the monster to change positions. The possibilities were endless.

Assaulter was great for platform catching haha. And BoT was awesome, i kinda wish they just changed the ninjas looks

I hope they bring them back for the 5th job I wouldn't mind not getting 2 new skills so that I could get those back.

I miss BoT, probably not assaulter these days though. It was nice for the time it was introduced however.

BoT had a large vertical range which was good and Assaulter was so fun to use to jump platforms.
We can't refute that every class had their niche back then

I use it for mesos... I kinda like the vamped ME, it's weird and reach the hit cap in 4 casts, but still pretty fun to have a pseudo ultimate class ability that can be spammed

Yes. Sometimes I go on my Marksman just to fool around with Hookshot. It's similar to Assaulter, just a bit more sluggish and delayed. Well... it's not exactly like Assaulter, it's just the "reach higher platform" part that reminds me of it.
They should change Steal into Band of Thieves that can actually steal potions and stuff. Kind of stereotypical to have a black figure steal potions, right?
Band of Thieves is what made Chief Bandit the chief of those thieves.

No. Low HP thief being in the middle of mobs getting smacked left right and center while trying to mob. No thanks.

Nothing was more fun than spamming Assaulter on a boss when shads first got Shadow Partner.

Band of thieves had a pretty long range :O I used it a lot in pvp in the past.

I used it together with bs (Like BS + Band of thieves)

am i the only one who doesn't miss those 2 skills. honestly i didn't like band of thieves... it was so boring.. u had to be so close to the enemy and it hits like pre-RED hermit's shade splitter. Also it only hit 1 line and u summon what... ninjas to atk ur enemies. I really didn't like that concept, besides, who uses that still once u get BS?

I miss them in conjunction to the era in which they existed - back when classes seemed to have more specific niches carved out for them. Now tons of classes can do just about everything, so why bother anymore?
