Will there ever be another experience like 20072011 basil??
God the forum was so amazing then especially like 2008-2009 when I think it was at it's biggest (tho I have no fkin clue boys). I've searched far and wide for a forum as dank as this place used to be but they're all complete trash just like this place is now. I'm legit almost as nostalgic for this forum as I am for the game back then.

all good things come to an end.
Those were great days. I was here almost every day and made so many friends. Now I just check in once in a while since everyone I know seems to have left or moved on with their lives.
Also after almost 10 years on basil they took away my avatar and the cat on my head. It might be a sign for me to move on too.
I don't know if it's just a part of growing up, but it seems like everything was better in the past and the stuff happening today sucks.
Those were the good old times.

I do miss the class-specific sections being much more active. Each section kinda had their little communities and leaders in those communities.

@xreniya I actually just realized it came across as sarcastic. I was serious. Every other off-topic forum I've been to is boring af and often less active than even Basil.
Which means that there are no other cool forums.

normal threads got like 10 pages of replies and the drama threads all got like 25+ pages. you'd log in and see a bunch of posts and get off for an hour or 2 and come back and then you'd see a bunch of new posts already made but now the same posts stay on front page for days/weeks
I doubt it. Maplestory isnt popular like it was in 2008. No new players are coming in so its just the same people on the forums.

never forget the days of refreshing and a page of new threads would be up, refreshing your computer like a madman because youre in a bid war with someone. good times. forums peak then drop it happens
I feel you @hermes this site contributed a lot to my time in maple back then. It will never be the same. People have just moved on to bigger and better things (read outside).
