Short Shorts that Show Buttcheek?
So my little brother is going into grade 9 in September and I took him to a "grade 9 welcome BBQ" at the high school the other day. I saw this other grade 9 girl there, and she was wearing these really short shorts where her butt cheeks were hanging out. It was basically underwear. Is this acceptable nowadays? I think it was kind of gutsy for a girl that young to wear that to school. Or maybe I'm just an old fart. What do you guys think? o.o My Asian mom would kill me if I wore those and I'm 20. She doesn't even let me go outside wearing just leggings on the bottom

I don't care if people wear them, it's their choice. By choosing it they are gonna face the consequences. In my opinion I don't find those shorts attractive, but hey what ever floats their boat.

if you look at college campuses (or at least mine) that's what every girl is pretty much wearing. and to be honest, I absolutely do not mind this new fashion trend.

I've heard of the shorts before, but that was my first time seeing them in person and it made me feel pretty uncomfortable, maybe that's just me though. Like she matched her outfit well, was wearing long sleeves and conservative on top. Its just that her butt was hanging out lol. They have a typical dress code (no spaghetti straps, finger length skirts/shorts, etc.) but only a few teachers enforced it when I was there. I guess I'm not used to seeing butt cheeks out in public and my mom raised me to think those kinds of things were "taboo" so it was shocking when I saw it. Guess I should start getting used to it

I saw a girl with those on today. As a guy I'm not complaining , I think people should wear what they want but I also think they look kinda trashy.
