well the hyper skill has a cd right? so it can't be always accounted for while a da always has its hp

Paladins: 10% damage reduction when all elements are stacked 250% defense and 40% guard rate with shield equipped 30% damage reduction with or without shield Automatically blocks 10 attacks every 30 seconds 20 seconds of invincibility after resing someone The ability to drop monsters' attack and accuracy stat by 30% (50% with the hyper) 600 bonus defense 50% status resist with shield equipped and charges turned on Hyper Skill that makes you invincible to everything except the 5 or so things that can hit through it (also makes you immune to DR) TWO skills that bind DR EDIT: I almost forgot. We can heal ourselves. lol, potlock.
And those numbers are slightly wrong, since a few of those defenses get STRONGER with CO turned on.
I can tank DR (60k hp, max it does is 50k) but then again i can either Sacro through DR and not get dmg or the most important thing, we can magic crash it.
Anyway, pally's are the tankiest of them all, surviving 100% hp attacks when divine shield is up, Thats more important than surviving any dr which can be timed.

@Marceaux: It does indeed have a cd. Even with the cool down Pally still can guard/block attacks while we can only tank actual raw numbers.

Because damage reflect can be avoided easily if you know your timing and bind accordingly, since OP was asking about tanking DR

DA has alot more hp, but pally takes less dmg per hit, making them "tankier"

Different bosses hit different amounts for damage reflect, just so you know. It isn't one set hp count.
Taking that into consideration, I could also say that I know some dual blades and dark knights that can tank DR f3.
