That's in my area too, but I listen to OST from anime all the time and no one knows.

@Ecliptic: Yes Armin still does trance on a regular basis but now it's a wide variety he incorporates, not a complete "sell out". I guess you can justify Tiesto as a sell out but I still find his older music relevant and he still plays it in some of his concerts.

As for W&W, I can't argue that their music is not the same because it's not. I am not a fan of all their music and most of the tracks I like from them usually have another dj collaborating with them.

@Aeronomx: Armin still does Trance on a regular basis, i.e. Gaia. Tiesto is a total sell out, don't try and argue that. His recent facebook and twitter posts show that.

Compare what W&W used to do, tracks like AK-47, D.N.A. , Alpha, Impact and Countach. The production quality on those is incredible. The dynamic range, perfect levels, not overly compressed. Compare those tracks to something like Lift Off, which is overly loud and compressed to crap, just like Shotgun and Thunder. The quality of the tracks is just not the same. It is the completely same formula. Some stupid riff with a half arsed virus lead and then an 808 kick on the drop. GJ beatport chart topper.

@Ecliptic: They are not sell outs, they had to reinvent themselves because the game changed. Just like Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto did, many others had to leave groups because it not as popular as it was or reinvent. Music from the group Pendulum was very unpopular to the masses, then 2 of the groups dj's went off and made Knife Party which is wildly popular. Times change, you can't expect the same music for generations.
