As for whether or not the work Mr. B puts into this site is fair compared to the paltry amount of money he makes off of it...Go storm every corporation ever, then we'll talk.
@kayspace1: Read my other posts. 'Nuff said. Even I can afford to pay for a server (less than $200 a month); and I only work part time (10 hours a week). He made a mobile app as well, which is going to DOUBLE his profits..
I hate it when people suck up to mr.b as if he's some kind of God or something.. -.- He's not going to make you a mod, get over it.
What if he doesn't make 200 a month? What if he has a family to maintain? You can't judge him on what he does to this website. Almost ALL websites have some sort of ad on them, are they all greedy? Making the mobile app is probably just for people to access more easily. Why do you assume everything he does is for money?
I don't wanna be a mod, nor am I sucking up to him. You don't know what I feel about this topic so get out.
I highly doubt all the ads have Java drives bys or other malicious content. People are fools for clicking on them is the first place, in my opinion it's good because then they learn from it.
Adblock is the best thing ever made for internet. Especially when the ads have sound and while your listening to music the ad starts to play. God. I remember those days when I used Internet explorer.

I don't like ads, and I would prefer if Basil was ad-free, but alas, it isn't, and there's nothing I can do about it. I'd rather have Basil with ads, than no Basil at all. Also, I interned at an advertising firm this semester, so I'm kinda biased towards the whole thing.
what? you mean he's actually MAKING MONEY off of the work he does? wow man he should just volunteer all that time and effort for free am I right
Holy crap I know right? I can't believe Mr. Basil is making money off of us. He should be providing everything free of charge.. wait nvm, he already does. ITT: Ungrateful people who complain about everything.

Ad Block Plus is cool.
I love how most people who see someone making "easy" money is greedy.
Nexon sells Nx and $10 scrolls? Greedy!
Basil has ads? Greedy!
This isn't the world you pictured when you were a child. People need to make money somehow, and at least these people aren't doing it illegally.
It's funny how much you can on the internet. o-o, like Mr.B's real name with a quick google search.
Why have them there in the first place?
Besides mr. b's greed for money.
Sorry, not all of us can be rich like you. We can't afford to keep a very busy website online 24/7.

@above
Basil without ads is so much more appealing.
But it's not going to make him any money.

He's a hobo...?
Well get adblock?
@yumtoast154: How odd! I guess it is still filtered. He did tell us at a meeting he was cool with it being said. I think we screen shot it too.
@Eeveepony: Well if Mr. B's first name doesn't start with a 'B' and end with an 'n', I must have the wrong person.

I don't think it is filtered any longer.

It's his job...
Obviously you're not gonna put all this time and effort into a site for no profit.
That's one of the reasons I don't use adblock.
what?

@ZxlceSinxZ: I don't see what's wrong with him making money. Why should he have to do it for free?
Also, Adblock Plus.
