Oldest Memory Of Maple?
What's your oldest memory of maple? Compared to others, I'm actually quite new. I began before the Big-Bang Patch around the time when Evan came out. My oldest memory would most likely be me and a few friends doing Carnival PQ ^-^ I wish that would come back ._.

One of my oldest memories was my time with this one map deep in Perion where people often went for training and questing. Normally populated by Wild Boars and Stumps/Axe Stumps, everyone would panic and leave whenever a Lupin would occasionally randomly spawn. That lone banana slinging monkey could deal out death like it was nobody's business. XD
I started playing in 2007 in Windia. I was only 10 and I was dating a 12 yr old. I was a lv 13 str mage, and it was an accident, I didn't know mages needed int, not str. It was pretty chill in 2007, the 12yr old funded me until we broke up (i think like 2 weeks later) and I eventually moved to demethos after the release of pirates. I had a TON of friends and I loved doing Nett's Pyramid, exploring, and henehoeing with them. Goooood times.
when pirates were introduced, everyone went ape at the idea of a pirate themed class

i still remember my first day in windia. it was the day windia was release back in like december of 2005 ish. now that i think of it, gonna be celebrating my 10 year anniversary in windia next month lmao
When mages would tele to the top of the signboard (?) in Henesys and drop things, while everyone else would be trying to jump up and get it.
I wonder if anyone still plays drop games lol

Cygnus Knights coming out, sitting on top of a wooden structure while people hunted pigs and seeing meso bags drop, trying to get the highest stats that I can when rolling the dice, moving on conveyor belts in the green apple uniform for the explorer tutorial, collecting every ore that dropped from monsters, being in a map full of stumps and many people were training there, being able to smith items, traveling to orbis and hiding from crimson balrogs, bathrobes were the coolest along with bamboo hats, only 3 character slots per world and the characters were on a wooden bridge, seeing GMs and Junior GMs everywhere, etc..
Probably training at pig beach (gahdam iron hog), or training at that Octopus hidden street that was in Kerning, and watching my friend get some maple weapon dropped

Like a few others, I joined right around before big bang and when aran came out. The oldest memory I can vaguely remember is probably my aran walking around checking out the new maps/the first version of the six path crossway. Also of course carnival pq.
rolling dice. begging for chronos in carnival pq. riding to orbis to explore and dying to rogs.
Adding ap into STR on my Evan.
Doing an event boss that looked like the character "V" for "Vendetta". That event never came back

I was a level 2x warrior at HHG2 and I kept the skill tab open to double click to use my skills.
When creating a character, you had to roll this dammed dice for stats.
And when I created my first character which was a mage, I didn't know how to use Magic Claw, I kept normal attacking mobs until level 13. It took so long because it was super weak. I also added my stats evenly like a Xenon.
I remember making my first character with my older brother back in 2006. He was explaining what class I should pick. I ended up picking a theif because they could "Go invisible" (dark sight) also if they were lucky they would hit a high number. Thats why you put up luck. I ALSO remember asking "Have you ever filled channels one AND two" I thought that the channel bars were based off of your character stats. Yes the times that I was playing Bera was full enough to have channel 1 and 2 full.
Edit: Also this http://i.imgur.com/38mcBx9.png This was around when prepaid first came out. I don't think this was my first purchase ever though. This was on the account mentioned above.
Um... for me it was when Aran was introduced at first. Back then I did Nett's Pyramid like crazy, and towns like Ariant actually had many players passing by.
Of course these days Ariant is a ghost town.
