One year but it was more like 2 because we weren't "officially" dating but we were a thing.

Ironically, we broke up on our 1 year anniversary.

I was in a relationship with a girl for about a month around the end of the school year to the beginning of the summer. It easily could've lasted longer, but it was the summer before I left for college and we were going to school really far away and I knew it wouldn't work, so I was feeling really guilty about continuing the relationship and cut it off before it would be harder to later on

how unfortunate. i never went back to any of my relationships, but the weirder part is that i dated a guy who went back to his ex shortly after he broke up with me. he dated that girl on and off for 3 years. i kinda knew what i was getting myself into, but i can never understand those relationships. if you break up, you break up.
