There's quite a lot I like, both of piano covers & songs made for the piano. I wouldn't say I have a favourite, just that I enjoy many of them.

There's some piano songs that have lyrics that I like too (typically Japanese, but not limited to them).
@Segumisama: oh yes. of course, dear. c:
@pinoymystic: Can we cuddle while listening to these?
The only thing that is depressing you is your inability to accept the fact that people are going to listen to what they want to listen to. Why should it 'depress' you if someone is listening to 'mainstream' classical music? Why are you letting something this small affect yourself this much? They're going to listen to whatever, regardless of how you feel, so why don't you just try and accept that and save yourself a lot of grief?
^what she said.
What's wrong with listening to mainstream classical music? o-o They're really good songs. I particularly love Moonlight Sonata.
OT: If classical, probably Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude by Bach and Minuet in G Major by Bach, also.
if not classical, then FFXIII piano collections

Anything The Piano Guys have ever touched... http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePianoGuys
@Loss Out of the three main periods of classical music, the baroque is probably my least favorite too, but I don't hate it.
I'm not annoyed at people listening to mainstream classical, I listen to some of it myself.
I'm annoyed at people who only listen to mainstream classical and don't bother exploring the genre outside of the famous pieces everybody knows.
The songs you listed are my favorite!
And yeah, basically every song and also songs covered in piano from Final Fantasy ~
@RiceWuvsU Well... the songs you listed except for "Butterfly Waltz" (Which I wouldn't call classical) are songs that pretty much everybody knows...
I could only post the extended version because loading videos will make my brother upset.
Also, ignore the cleavage..
@civfanatics
Just to let you know, I don't listen to classical music on the radio and I certainly do not just listen to classical music.
I listen to classical music from songs I know in the piano.
@RiceWuvsU I didn't say it was wrong... It just irritates me that some people only know and only listen to the mainstream classical pieces...
Shouldn't you be glad young people even listen to classical music? Mainstream or not?
@RiceWuvsU Baroque/Classical/Romantic is a huge genre... you shouldn't just limit yourself to the stuff you hear on the radio...
@RiceWuvsU: yup ^_^
@civfanatics
If it irritates you, you should've kept it to yourself then.

Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise are very classical and just as good as Canon in D.
It takes time to learn the whole thing, but practice makes perfect! c:
@civfanatics Those are my favorites, but I also listen to covers of the 20th century pop songs too..
@RiceWuvsU i know! i have been playing ever since i got a piano for christmas so i guess around 3 months? i will definetely look at learning the other songs you recommended once i finish learning Canon in D. if you have any other songs that might be good to learn let me know please!
@abundance629 I agree... she just listed mainstream classical... although I guess the Prelude Op 3 No 2 is a bit mainstream... so are a few of my suggestions.
@ColdAir
Ah, yes! I've been taking lessons for 2 years now! I've learned Canon in D and it just sounds so amazing.
