What is a good Yuri anime?
I really want to watch a Yuri, so have anyone seen a good Yuri, or at least one that isn't about "fan-service."

Pretty much the good ones have been listed. BUT if you're willing to try a manga, I HIGHLY recommend Maka-Maka.
you might find some at KissAnime: Yuri
I keep seeing people say Sakura Trick has fan service. The only fan service that has is LOTS of kissing. But it's one of the better yuri anime I've seen out there, so definitely watch it.
90% of anime is fanservice
I've watched LOTS of yuri animes out there so this list should sum up the big ones.
- Akuma no riddle (About a girl protecting another girl from classmates trying to kill her, still airing, no fan service, not much romance scenes )
- Kannazuki no Miko ( 2 girls that transform to save earth lol. Some mecha in fights, BEST romance buildup and climax, my favourite yuri)
- Sakura trick ( 2 school girls in love straight from first episode. Pretty romantic, lots of fan service imo, cliche, just intense love making scenes, shallow story other wise)
-Sasameki Koto ( About one girl crushing on other that's possibly straight? funny, girls are adorable together, not much romance scenes,)
-Strawberry Panic ( School girls ...again in love, cliche, blah blah, slow story, romantic towards end, you'll ship the 2 girls so hard, my 2nd fav)
-Yuru yuri ( school girl group, no one on one relationships, cute, FUNNIEST anime ever, fan service all the way)
Yuru Yuri
as someone mentioned before sasameki koto is good
Yuruyuri but its not hardcore yuri
Sono Hanabira.
Isn't Akuma No Riddle a yuri? o.o
like all the other people posted, I can only think of sakura trick, well there's shinsekai yori but it only had one scene so I wouldn't suggest watching that jsut for the one scene, rather watch it cause it's pretty amazing by itself.
Sakura Trick omg

blade and soul
Revolutionary Girl Utena
probably one of the few decent yuris. It was great imo

Very short, and I haven't read it yet. Found it as a recommendation from someone else (who follows a lot of Yuri series).
A few that I plan to watch, which I assume fit the content you're looking for:

It's pretty rare, but rewarding to find. Basically everywhere, homosexuality is, sexualized very heavily.
How about Saki?
It's the one of the few anime where the MC gets... turned on, while in the same building as a formidable opponent.
And those poor tables... those girls are slamming down like their swinging flippin' jackhammers.
Not completely Yuri, but with a 99% female cast....
I highly recommend My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
yuri undertones or what
ga rei zero
madoka
?
it's not really yuri, but yuru yuri has alot of comedic affection between girls
there's strawberry panic, it's very shoujo-like
there's also sakura trick. there's no fanservice, unless you consider kissing as fanservice
Madoka Magica is clearly a Yuri anime.
Good question. I tried a couple of them after I searched them up but none of them really appealed to me.
Nope that's basically what yuri is about.
