Mixed signals ugh i just need a place to vent out my thoughts.. so there's this guy I like who i have an elective with. Gossip Girl Ok so I know that Gossip Girl has ended for a while and it's sorta old news now, but i recently decided to finish watching it and I reaallllly was hoping that Serena would get back together with Nate. Being behind in a class So my sister, who's in 9th grade, is in Algebra I. She took pre- algebra in 8th grade while most people took Algebra that time. So now, the typical 9th grader is in geometry while she's in Algebra I. Her math isn't bad ( I've seen her tests and quizzes and she has maintained an A for the whole year). She has the option of taking summer school and paying a whopping $600 for both semesters of geometry. So she really regrets not taking Algebra I in 8th grade. The main worry that she told me about is that if she doesn't take summer school, and just stays behind in a math course for the rest of her high school years, that colleges won't like it and have a less chance of accepting her. Is it just me or. Is it just me, or...do people who use "lmao" a lot, or any abbreviations with a cuss word in it, come off as really rude to you? I'm used to people swearing 24/7, but on the internet, when they add a "lmao" to their comments, I just feel immense dislike towards them, even though I know that most of the time it's just habit for them or they don't really mean it in an offensive way. I mean..why not just use "lol", which is simpler and shorter?
What to top whipped cream with I've always loooveed whipped cream, and so today I bought two cans of them. The only thing is is that I don't really have much at home..barely any fruits, no ice cream, no cake/pie... I do have yogurt, cereal, and pears. I might have some other fruit in the fridge, but too lazy to check atm. I'm planning on buying some bananas this weekend just so I can use the whipped cream. Good google play apps I get bored really easily and so i'm looking for any app from google play that is a good time waster/ is beneficial (EX: I discovered that you can make flashcards with an app, which saved me tons of index cards for tests and stuff, yipee). I'd also prefer if the app doesn't require internet service, but if it's awesome enough, I won't care. Oh and I really like those interactive games like 'choose-your-story' type thing where you are the character and get to control him/her and see how the story turns out. Picture of a dog So in art we have a project coming up involving dogs. I think it's called the "dog show"? Something like that. I'm looking for a really vivid and eye catching picture of a dog with decent scenery/background, and I will be doing it with prismacolor pencils. Can you graduate without community service hours Do you need community service hours to graduate, say, from 9th grade to 10th, or 10th grade to 11th, etc. Or is it just recommended to have community service hours? We have been friends for a few months and we used to talk a lot until I started talking to him less on purpose so that I wouldn't give him ideas. Android Screen Keeps Dimming Ok so I have an android phone that dims after 10 seconds of inactivity (which gets super annoying when trying to read something). I went to the settings and toyed with every single option to try to solve my problem. I changed my lock time to 30 min, but the screen still went dimmer after 10 seconds. My display is also NOT on auto brightness. I also went through the play store and searched online for apps that could solve this problem, but to no avail. So does anyone know of a free solution/app that can prevent my screen from dimming, or an app that can let me adjust the amount of time before the screen dims for Android? Thanks :)
