and you know why most db are funded with high dmg? cause are the other db quit theirs due to realizing "oh yeah db are expensive and not as overpower as people think"...

Nope. Asura only lasts for 10 seconds so it is unreliable for consistent damage. Our main 1v1 is 200% per line, which is not very high (Kaisers have higher for example). Finally we have DPM charts that are based on %damage done in a specific amount of time which have DBs not even in the top 20. DBs are not OP, and nobody has proof that they are , except the usual complaint resulting from some poor schmuck seeing an overfunded DB. As usual, most people I see complaining about OPness are people who are weak.

Funding makes you strong. A DB with no funds does crap damage. When I had total zero funds it took me like a whole minute to kill one Crocky back in the day when Luminous is killing crockies in like 15 seconds with no funds. A little bit slower on an unfunded Kaiser, but still faster than a DB with no funds.

40k is nothing. I hit 30k per line on my Xenon with 0 funds at like level 85. On my Kaiser mule I did more damage then my DB when my DB was the same level and unfunded. The majority of the classes I've played, excluding most explorers, were stronger than my DB when they were level 120 and had 0 funds. People think DBs are OP because most DBs are funded. I personally like the class because the play style trumps every class I've ever played.

Hmm, just 4-5 months ago, when Hypers were about to come out, people were arguing that Shadowers are stronger than DBs by a huge margin, yet I don't see many people saying Shadowers are OP. There are also far more overpowered classes in this game. It honestly appears that most people think DBs are OP because the majority of DBs you see flying around have a lot of funds and can do a lot of damage. Make an unfunded DB yourself and see how well you do against other classes that are unfunded. Thieves in general are weak without funding, but can be very strong when funded (but isn't that true for all classes?). Getting a good Katara is not easy, and getting a good Dagger can be even harder. The whole point is basically: Funding. People who complain that DBs are OP probably have crap funding and crap damage.

The avoid rate barely means anything if you die in one hit at places like Twilight Perion. Also, there are much better healing skills than their Life Drain. Like I said, their only main selling point is bossing damage.

Lol? Without hardly any funds at all my DB was hitting 40k per line on PB WITHOUT Final Cut. I was dumb enough not to put any SP into it but now i can't imagine how much I'd be hitting with it active since the SP reset. DB are overpowered out the ass. That's why there's so many of them around. Or have you not noticed?

First of all, DB's are not as overpowered as everyone tends to think they are... And second of all, if you can hit cap on a [b]skill that does 200% damage[/b] that is pretty dang impressive.

EDIT: @Kazzooey Damage isn't the only thing that makes a class OP. Their mobbing skills have horrid damage, survivability is extremely low if they don't avoid the attack, their skills use an excessive amount of MP, they have no party buffs, etc. Their only selling point is relatively high damage. And I find it extremely hard to believe you were hitting 40k per line of unfunded, unmaxed PB.

I like to classify dual blade as "overpowered" because every DB I see has so much funds! I didn't fund mine that much, and he hits very hard and fast. I took the Mercedes video because:
1. The skill has somewhere around 150% damage
2. He's hitting max on it. Most people will hit max on moves that hit high percentages, as for this Mercedes who is capping on a very weak, but fast move.
