@ZombieOverlord: The job thing kinda depends. I've had my job for almost two years now and it's one of the only things I'll wake up at 6am for on a consistent basis. I even changed career paths because of it. So if you find a job you really enjoy, it could make life that much better

Second year at a community, pretty dull for the most part.
I'm friendly enough to make friends in class, but nothing much beyond that.
Only thing that preoccupies my troubles is family troubles, really.
I feel like if I get a job things will become even more monotone.

Most of the people listed on the OP's post are just people that comment on things more than others. Most people that are commonly recognized on this site don't set any goal for "internet fame," as you put it.

@fradddd It can mean either profession. A female courtier attending upon a royal court (although this definition may be a bit antiquated), or a female engaging in certain acts I will not mention.

@fradddd Courtiers are the people attending upon the royals in a court, but that doesn't mean they actually do anything useful or important. They would spend most of their time at the royal palace with the royal family. Courtesan is the female term for courtier
EDIT in response to your edit: Courtesan can also refer to a certain profession which I will not mention. In this case, it refers to a woman in a royal court.
