After seeing Artasi's banning guidelines, it seems a bit outdated since it's from last year. But I deserve a 48 ban at the most.

Yeah it sucks, that's why there aren't many 250's in KMS.

I wasn't, that's the thing. I was just leeching and was the only one who got banned.

@doudys: in 2007 I got banned. I was masses defamed one day then got banned.
Someone came into my map and started Ksing me. Seeing I was a cleric and they were a thief. I didn't have much of a chance to fight back so I ignored them. Then shortly after a while player after player started coming in and started mass defaming me. So I signed off then when I went to get back on. It said I was banned and come back in 30 days.

that sux dude. i never knew that you could get banned for leeching. i mean almost everyone does it so its kind of unfair to you. it doesnt make any sense that you were banned for auto keyboarding when all you did was just stand there.

Where did you get that being caught for macroing would normally result in a permanent ban? Nexon gives players so many chances, it's beyond ridiculous. If they perma banned everyone they caught botting/macroing, then my 250 may actually mean something.

My Demon Slayer is 213, and again I was only leeching.

@doudys : A friend of mine, who shall not be named, who recently got banned for the same reason told me that it was apparently changed based on level. He was in the 210-220 level range as well (I'm going off the assumption that it was your DS that received the infraction) and was also banned for 2 weeks despite it being his first offense.

It is actually against the ToS to leech from hackers/macroers/botters. This makes sense because leeching exp from a botter is basically the same as botting yourself.

you could try ban appeals on Wednesday, they refused 'to give me the reasons or provide details over tickets but i got a relatively nice GM during the live chat and they told me everything from the reason my account got banned, and a bunch of other information regarding the incident. If you're as innocent as you say you are, they'll remove it.

This is why. Lots and lots of people leech and bot but just you got banned.
Reason is, 1.) Botters dont re0ly. Thats natural, theres no one to reply.
2.) you arent a bot. Capable of replying to the gm.
3.) You were afk phoning with your Bae. Therefore the GM thought you ignored him, got his pride scratched and got mad. Boom revenge, he didnt have specific proven reason or proof
and thats why its just 14 days.

It surprises me how many people are surprised that botting is against the rules. And if you didn't think you were botting, "macroing" is holding down a key while afk, which is botting. Even though you aren't using a third party program like some players do, it's against the ToS to attack while afk. If a GM whispers you and you don't respond in a certain time period, you're clearly afk botting and will be suspended. However if you're able to respond to them relatively quickly then you can have a conversation with them and you'll be fine. Happened to my friend not too long ago

Also you can get banned from leeching off a botter because nexon still considers it as abusing the system. It's always been like this, my friend got a temporary ban in LHC a few years ago from leeching from a botter

Yup, happened to me. The GM told me that the whole map gets banned.

You probably did botted not too long ago and thats when you were reported, a GM must have finally decided now to catch you while you were legitimately afk leeching.

I feel you with this temp ban crap, I got temp banned 2 days ago while trying to join a GM game event, and was told that I was found using macros/auto-keyboard
or trading with an account that had illicitly obtained items/mesos. The funny thing was that I Hadn't even trained for 24 hours, and had done a trade with someone else even
farther back in time. >.<
I also had not macroed/botted, as they claimed.

That's the funny bit, I appealed and it got denied.

I'm literally like willing to bet 500$ that they have no proof what so ever of me physically botting, logically speaking, I was in the middle of the map, while I was on the phone.

Edit ~ GMs don't like when peeps try to appeal temp bans multiple times after being denied, and that's most likely why their bans get changed.
