@ErvTheMan: My statement still stands. You're using basilmarket as a source of advice. As much arrogance as you claim, that very acts seems rather... pedestrian and not enviable in the least.

To be honest, the TS has a point. Every other dude has this messed up idea that you're supposed to follow the gift-giving dates, or even go out of your way to make a girl feel special and whatnot... hell naw dawg. (srs).
You don't make it obvious when you give a gift, and you DON'T play by her games when it's obvious she wants to get a gift. I wouldn't expect Basil to understand, considering the godawful advice and criticism you've given my man Erv, but it's so obvious what she's leading him to do. Can't you see? She WANTS, almost EXPECTS a gift, it's testing how accessible she is to his money. If Erv gives in and goes out picking a sweet adorable gift for the broad, it's a test failed.

@HastyHeist: Good one! Damn, I've never heard such an amazing comeback in my life! I bet it took you all of 10 minutes to find a suitable reaction to my post and what a wonderful fit it is!

@ErvTheMan: Then I think you need to mature a bit more before you get into a relationship because they kind of require you to be selfless And I still say be honest with her. Better she knows now what your real character is like than you trick her into believing your someone else if you're concerned about her feelings.

@HastyHeist: You clearly don't know the difference between a bro-lationship and a SM-relationship.

Maybe if you had a bro you would understand, you poor lonely soul.
Selfish? Are you trying to insult this man, here?
Because that's one hell of a compliment from my point of view. This dude is basically the devil incarnated. If even dared so much make eye contact with him, let alone ask for a favor, you would be instantly consumed in an inferno of fire.

Don't mess with him, man. You're just asking for trouble.
Didn't know he had a personal female dog.
You're asking basilmarket what to do concerning a girl.
You can't have that high of an opinion of yourself.

Buy her one good present. That is good enough for this Christmas if you guys aren't even close enough to express your true nature; in this case, selfishness.
I just hope money is not an issue because that's usually the only thing stopping people from buying friends presents.

Just tell her the truth and if you really mean it, say you're willing to change your ways if it means you can show her your love for her in a more significant way. Some people love to receive gifts because they find it special that the person has taken the time and effort to search for something really meaningful to that person.
It's not about her for the last damn time. This has nothing to do with buying her a present or anything. It really doesn't even have anything to do with her. It's about me trying not to seem selfish even so I am.

Also no money is not the problem. I have cash flow.

Why does everyone keep suggesting to me what I should buy her?
That is not the issue here. The issue is OTHER people. Like family, and friends.

I know what you can do.

Not sure what you're getting at.
Sounds like you're in the friend zone.
No way. Big Daddy doesn't get friend zoned.

Ask @segumisama , No one could stand being my friend, except for my buddy @Davyn =]
