That or they just don't respect the topic enough to dignify it with a meaningful response.
I've never used the word in my life but I can appreciate it well enough. Definitely not worth dismissing entire people because they have different values than you do.
I get what you mean tho...it's rly irritating when you think a topic is worthy of merit only to see it dismissed with such a disproportionately low amount of effort and thought (maybe even respect?). I can definitely see how it's rude. But rude =/= low intelligence. Most of the time it just means something as innocuous as burn out with a subject.
Lol, truth. I don't personally merch, but just coming up to the best mercher in the game and asking for a donation is rather rude.
I find working towards my equips (like using free cubes to cube/scroll a gollux ring <3) a lot of fun. I wish people would start realizing that. You actually helped me with that when, in one of your videos, you were like "I find that now that I've become more of a casual player, I like this game so much more. I boss when I want to boss, and it's no longer a stress." -proceeds to talk about multiple characters, merching, etc.
That philosophy is really powerful Lol. I think I've actually gotten farther in this game than I've ever gotten following that, and had fun doing so. ^^
Working towards a goal in a casual manner without any rush while still seeing steady progress is truly what I found to be the most fun while playing this game. Before that, the most fun I had was climbing my way up while being an unknown merchant, but now that I have extra spending money, just being casual is really nice.
Honestly, this casual mindset is what I link to a lot of rich and successful people in this world. If I had to define success in one word... Optimism: this mindset allows for growth and endless possibilities.
I hope you continue finding success in Maplestory, in your work, and in your life. Always remain optimistic, my friend.
I like sprinkling my little philosophies into my videos every now and then. My channel is simply about a small game that people say is dying, so I'm sure most people who hear what I say just breeze by it. I'm truly glad someone was able to listen to what I had to say all the way. This isn't about success in a game. It's about success in EVERYTHING that you hope to achieve and accomplish. That's why I do not separate Maplestory as a separate part of myself.
Thank you for your comment.

I have at least 15 lucky cubing spots. I wont tell people to leave unless I know them. I hate when people hover when I cube. It bothers me more than it should.
"Got any donations for me?"
Nope.
"You're selfish and you're obligated to give me your hard earned money."
"Teach me how to merch."
Sure. I spent 20+ hours making some guides. Here're the video links.
"I already watched your video guide, but I'm too lazy to use my brain so I need you to hold my hand."
Or
"Your guide's too long for me to watch. Can you just tell me how to do it?"
"Can you plan me a budget to fund myself?"
Sure. Tell me your goals and your resources such as how you can make money and how much money you plan to spend in this game so I can personally build you a budget.
"I want to solo CRA and I will spent $0 on the game."
i'll admit to this.
I once ran into someone who was wearing clean lvl 60 equips and thought she was stronger than my phantom mule because I had lvl 40 equips (crafted with ~4% luk). I told her my range and she said "Well that's because Phantoms are op af"
So that.
She was an aran too.
