I have spent maybe 20 dollars over the 7ish years I have been playing. I have over 15b worth of familiars, 10b pure mesos and 30 something bil worth of equips.

I feel I probably could have spent that money better (even if it was just on more profitable things in maplestory), but w/e

i think i prob spent like, maybe $10 on NX for MAPLESTORY but mabinogi is a whole different thing...

Spent ~$3000-3500 through my 9 years (1 year of KMS then GMS since beta).
Since I was 6 or 7 when I started, I really only used NX during the first few years on gach and expiring clothing, which of course all went to waste.
During MTS I was doing a bit better by buying good equips and selling them for mesos, and eventually selling off 8 and 10 atk wgs from MTS as well.
I only started selling my NX directly after BB though, which is also around the time I figured out how to fund a character properly and what not.
I'd say about $1500-2000 went to serious funding, I got hacked during the Christmas of '011, and that cut off about 20b~25b, but my current account value is ~40b.

Did you spend it on marvel and then NPC the goods? I don't even understand...

If spent about 200~300k nx in my 6 year of maple. I dont really become rich till about 3 years ago. I have around 15~20b in equips.

Spent only 75 dollars last year for nx and I came up with 250k nx from selling my things. Then I got banned from the 200 beginner exploit. Oh Wells. I have 30k nx from merching gonna try to triple that this summer.

Nexon is not the sucker, your just making bad investments. The $650 you spent on Marvel and Philospher books would have gotten you more than your value back even if you didn't get a Tyrant or an LGR. I am not quite sure what you did with the plethora of items you got. The teapots was a bad investment shouldn't have spent the money. I typically watch others be guinea pigs and scout the items before determining whether the item and % chance is worth it; my observations said don't spend Teapot; high risk low reward.

This isn't really a gambling tactics by Nexon, they tend to give more than you pay compared to if you were to buy the CS item without the event. This is you making bad decisions with your hobby funding.

I have spent more money then you if that helps; however, I don't do things at losses and I have account equity to show for it.

I haven't wasted it, no, I spent my money on something that I enjoy, something I do almost every day.
Wasting it would be buying $2,000 on this game and then never playing it again, that's idiotic.
Anyways, most of it was spent on cubes.. NX outfits, or buying mesos.

In the 7years that I've played. I spent well over 5000$ and the funny part is that I kept getting hacked or scammed that I've lost everything. All I have now is ~450mil

i had been playing for years now and only around 300$ lost 150 on other accs from getting banned(idk why) and forgetting my PIC when it came out so gg nexon you should owe me

All i have ever spent was the free maple points that nexon used to give for a role back (15k nx) ^_^

I have 20b+ in equips and haven't spent a penny. Also sold my things and made $300 so far and making more.

I've spent $2,615 in the past 3~4 months on MapleStory.

I keep every single karma koin scratch-off in my desk to remind me to stop wasting money... and yet I keep buying more. I'm pathetic lol. Although at least I've been getting a little bit better.

But I spent all of my NX on either gachapon-like events (Marvel, Teapots, Philosopher Books) or on cubes, and have yet to use any money changing my hair/eyes/clothes... unless you count the coupons I got from marvel. Although I'm a sucker for sparkly eyes and hyper teleport rock <3

In this past year that I came back to the game I've probably spent close to $500...so far....unfortunately I haven't spent it on anything useful.

Ive probably spent close to $200 on this game, all wasted by some hacker. In return, I received a hair coupon for the loss.
