Im running away tonight

Any words of advice or encouragement? I might sleep on a beach far away until I find a friend to live with. I fought with my family to the point of abuse. I've been abused a lot through the years. I'm packing my bags later. I'm legal to leave without cops coming to get me this time. Thanks. And no I'm not running from my problems I'm solving it.

@HastyHeist: That can all be easily fabricated. I've seen "homeless" people join all the time.
@sceneangelx: wait you have a job? You never said anything like that in your last thread. What about school and your depression?
I was planning to go to school but yeah... I left med school because of anxiety and pressure. I had too much experience that wasn't counted as well. It was a 9 month school that had too much compressed to do. So I'm a little hesitant to go to community or something. I'm an independent because I dont have parents and other things. So yeah.. I can have free education and a dorm/house but it'll take time to register..

My depression didnt get better, I need better 'therpy'. (Censored) I have a full time job.

Learn to make a fire. Learn what plants around you are safe to eat. Be safe.

Good luck.
@sceneangelx: Oh ok but why are you going to move out without money or a job. Once you live on the streets its hard to get things turned around.
I do have a job and money. Idk why people are assuming I don't just because I'm young. I have a lot of things I can do for myself. I have a friend who will accept me as family. But for the time being I'm curious what the night would be like. But yeah.

I wouldn't recommend the beach because at night the drunk weed smokers come out so try a homeless. But if it were me do what you did before (referring to @NuggetsOnCrack). Find your soulmate on Maplestory and eDate him and eSteal his money and eSpend his money so you forget about how crap your real life is.

I'd suggest wearing a glow in the dark Raptor shirt like I did when I "ATTEMPTED" to run away at the age of 6.

Haha this isn't going to work trust me.
My bro has ran away 7 times and comes back in less than 5 Days!
You won't last even if you have a friends house.

Try to look up a homeless shelter on google. If you find one near you, get your phone and put the address on your phone so you can locate it faster. Good Luck.

If you're being abused, why don't you just call Child Protective Agencies or whatever it's called that stops parents from being abusive/makes you safer or w/e they do to help. I think they'd move you to a safer home with some funds to get you started. o.o

@sceneangelx Oh man I'm really worried! How are the prospects of living with a friend- any of them willing to give you a place to stay? Have you tried contacting a homeless shelter? It will at least be a safe place to sleep. Remember to update your friends about your whereabouts at all times so that if you do go missing, someone can tell the police where you have been/where it'd be best to start looking. Um, do you have access a place to shower/a place with working electricity (either at your workplace or a friend's house)? Oh and it'd help to know some basic self defence including pressure points and easy KO areas. I remember two main things from my self defence lessons:
1. If ever someone attacks you, injure/attempt to break their knee (with any weapon you can get hold of) because that way they can't run after you.
2. If someone has grabbed you, use your fingers to jab into your eyes, your fingernails should prove deadly and sink into their eyes

Long-term wise, how long are you planning on being homeless for? :S

You should make a list of all the supplies you're bringing/how long the supplies will last if you havent done so already.
Imo call the cops to tell them your parents are abusing you..
No. Just forget that. There's plenty of times where I should've called child protective service. But I'll be ok.
Good Luck.
From what I have read on survival guides, get a gym membership something like anytime fitness. You have water fountains, bathrooms, showers ideal place and its only 10$ a month. Take a good amount of money with you, stay at a friends house to for 1-2 months then go to college. Keep your job but remember you don't wnat your parents to find you. AND ONE MORE THING COME BACK TO BASIL AND UPDATE US.
Thanks, ill see what I can do.

I heard this tip of joining a gym that's open 24/7. This'll give you a place to shower, drink, work-out (if you want to) and a roof to sleep under.
Drastic measures for drastic situations I'd say. Though you could just try to find a room, get a job and live there. Good luck anyways!
Have you thought of applying to a college or something? Go to a homeles shelter to get back on your feet, then work hard to find a stable job. If college isn't a possibility, try to get work experience somewhere. You're going to need to work hard, good luck.
I have grants I can practically have a free house, and college, but it will take time. I have money. I have a full time job. I dont have to leave it, but it won't be hard to find another one, I have great experience.

Tip for food: go to a Whole Foods after hours. They'll basically hand you the stale bread and stuff.
