This sucks.

OMG! This is the saddest news in Maple history. What a way to end the year indeed! I was farming coins with the absolute purpose of extending slots on most of my characters and now we get hit by this? Back to ol' boring ass bossing I guess. Nexon just killed the Holidays for me! gg.

Shining Santa Box also have a cap on coins now? I have the feeling it's capped at 90 coins. Can anyone confirm this?

Edit: They really should post this kind of info if they nerfed it and if they put a cap (Opened too many boxes that I could have saved for the next day). It's already wasting time to collect boxes, to open boxes, to drop the stuff you don't need.

Im glad I maxed insight and willpower. Thanks to this nerf I have no incentive to play more after bossing. A favor imo to anyone that finished.

The worst part about this coin nerf rate is that the noses pop up more often than zits on a teenager. Why on earth did they make rudolph noses MORE frequent of all the items from those boxes?

Who would even complain about the op coin rate? Does it affect them in any way? Almost all the rewards are not trade-able, nobody really sells services, and so on. First they complain about how hard the game is, and now they're complaining that things are handed down to them? I swear, you can never satisfy these people.

@chaosh: They definitely nerfed the Enjoyable Winters to about 1 every 100 boxes, give or take. Lucky Winters are about the same rate and Cold Winter Energy seems buffed. However, you get A LOT more red noses now, so that's no fun.

Did the Winter buffs get affected? Can't acess MS right now; although I'm not really surprised, Beefy Coins, Reboot coins, event coins drop like mad during the first week and then Nexon randomly decides to ninja nerf it on the next maintenance. Kind of sucks for those who didn't get the chance to farm a lot of boxes during the first week, although I believe it should still be possible to max a couple of traits on your main if you really want to.

That sucks? Who even complained. So many people were happy with the rate. This tanks so hard tho, I was waiting for kinesis to do a lot of things since most of the shop is untradable.

i don't care anymore. I maxed all my traits already before the nerf (:

The santa boxes are pretty useless now in terms of coins... If you want coins just get pepe and farm your 60 coins daily

Well crap, I'm going to need to do a lot more farming.

I opened 850 boxes, got 60 coins.

I can confirm that Pepe boxes are atleast even worse now. I had to open 421 to get my 60 daily coins this time around. Haven't tried santa ones yet

omg I haven't went on ms yet but if this is true I'll be really sad

good thing i farmed my 5k coins already and don't care any more.
