Is it weird that Im a guy, but play a girl character?

I have 10 characters in total. 2 of which are female.
I just thought a shad female would be more fitting, but everytime I walk around in town, theres a bunch of 12 year olds asking me for BJ's.
At first it was downright hilarious, but now its getting really annoying.

I don't have a cross dressing habit either, nor do I wish I was a girl IRL...
I'm probably the straightest person I know.

It can be sort of cool to see it from the other side but, most will think your a G.I.R.L.

@Floral: Weird thing is, I'm the maturest guy in my class as well.
I'm just stereotyping due to the majority.

Out of all 24 of my characters, 9 are girls (soon to be 8, I need to restart one).
Yes it's weird, you obviously have some identity issues. Guys that like playing as girls just lack balls really;ones that enjoy looking like a puked up unicorn crap. Especially when you make your character's user "ItsSecksss", shows that you're a lonely little virgin satisfying your own disgusting lust by playing the role of your own female lust object, pathetic.
For most games I normally only play female characters if I am forced to.

I can never truly tell what gender a player is with out some outside information. I just assume they are the gender they represent. If I am wrong then it is really no damage to me. I don't try to date people over Maple Story.

The only female character I have is my Kanna, just because I thought it'd fit the idea more. As far as I know, there are no male onmyouji's.
So that means I have 11 in 12 characters that are male.
I tried making a female once in Guild Wars 2, but I regretted that decision. Having people hit on you thinking you're a girl but revealing to them that you're a guy is annoying at times. I still laugh though.

Im in a similar case as you.
I made all my mage characters females because it seems more appropriate (no offense to chicks) but also because they can potentially have better damage (assuming youre not using Empress Equips) because they have 2nd tier top and bottoms.
However with an IGN like that i wouldnt be surprised people are asking for a lil sumtin.

Eh. I make my Thieves and Bowmen characters female, the rest are male. I don't remember why.

reminds me of this song lol

anyways i don't think it's too weird. because i understand you want eyecandy while you play a videogame, but not so much in 2d games just because they don't really have much assets if ya know what i'm sayin

Nope. Male VIP hair sucks lol.
I don't understand how people would ever insist that the gender of one's character has anything to do with one's real gender. I usually make characters according to the original gender of the class (Kaiser: male, Hayato: male, Kanna: female; the opposite gender for these classes either have a really creepy look or creepy voice acting) except for Xenon, Merc, and Lumi.

Not really. I personally prefer to make my character resemble the type of person I am, soo... It tends to be male.

Didn't you make the thread yesterday about how your parents thought you were gay?
Easy fix, don't make girl characters.
