Finally, we can become gym leaders! I'm so hyped to make an awesome gym leader team with some mega evolution in it. ORAS only lives up to my expectations more and more. Definitely getting on release day. (assuming we can do things like that)

Getting Alpha Sapphire! I already have all shiny starters ready for Mega Evolution~

Hoping I can do monotype battles for my Super Secret Base. Gunna make an Ice team, a Dark team, a Fairy team, and a Flying team.

I'm gonna go for Omega Ruby <3
Not sure if I can afford it on release, I'm looking at SSB and Persona Q's release (still don't know if I should preorder Persona Q because of the $50 price tag x___x) and waiting for Animal Crossing to go on sale and looking at Bravely Default from Best Buy rn but don't know what my second game should be
gahhhhh

Plus I'm still working on Y, I'm on my 7th badge with oodles of berries and clothes and I keep getting distracted by replaying FE:A (1st lunatic run).

Bring in the trumpets! Gen 3 was a great one (I love all gens I don't hate on any) and although there won't be a Delta Emerald, I will enjoy it regardless. You see I am one of the few people that actually is a Wallace fan. I loved emerald most of all but Omega Ruby will suffice. Also, I think X/Y were great games that began the 6th Gen, I'm sure that they will actually make a 3rd game of the Kalos region (or X2/Y2) in which they will improve everything they lacked in X/Y (And I know it's kinda hard it happens but a few more new pokemons maybe GameFreak?). Either way, at the beginning I wasn't fond of Mega Swampert but now I'm used to it and I'm ready to choose Mudkip (Always go with water starters). Keep the hype train moving!

I'm very hyped for OR/AS as well. It's my favorite generation ever. Especially when Emerald introduced the Battle Frontier; spent so many hours getting all those gold badges. And Secret Bases <3. Too excited.

Also, I don't think X/Y weren't that bad for the first game being in 3D. I think the whole switch from 2D to 3D took the most work at the expense of a good endgame. Also, they even added character customization to it. Even though you're only limited to a few customizatsions (the outfits are pretty nice though!). In most Pokemon games I set a standard for myself to get at least 1 badge every 1.5 hours, but this was nowhere near possible in X/Y even if you rushed the storyline (unless you probably traded over some mons), which made this the longest Pokemon game to complete for the first time, to me.

I agree that it doesn't have replay value. I've also stopped playing it for some months now; it was a nice game regardless though.

Generation 3 was my favourite Pokemon generation (Ruby version, specifically), so I'm looking forward to it.
Terrible story, lack of post-game, it lags, barely any memorable Pokemon were added, even easier and more hand-holding than any game before it, terrible pacing, soundtrack isn't anything worth writing home about, pandering to genwunners makes it feel like the same old crap, etc. The only really, really good aspect about the game is the online play. The games are so obviously rushed I find it difficult to believe people unironically think they're great games. Black/White may have had similar hand-holding and linearity issues, but at least it was fresh and didn't lag. The story was great and the soundtrack was great as well, and there's a lot more post-game to speak of than there is with X/Y. The Pokemon roster for that generation was also large and mostly well-designed. Diamond/Pearl were slow as hell and had similar problems with the roster, but at least the lore was interesting and the soundtrack was comfy. The story was also decent, albeit not as good as Black/White's and there wasn't nearly the amount of hand-holding bullcrap that you see in X/Y.
Sums up my thoughts on XY pretty well. The only thing I enjoy on XY is breeding. I've tried replaying a few times but I see it as a chore for Mega stones more than an enjoyable game.

Sadly, no replay value. No end game content. Only good for competitive breeding. People are too obsessed over the graphics of these games. Yes it's 3D. Loads of other games are as well. It's not a new thing in gaming. It's not even like the 3D graphics were even all that stunning. Town designs were horrible as well. They murdered Paris. They can do better than that. Look at Alto Mare and tell me they can't...
The map all but confirms Battle Frontier, which makes me very excited. I'm also glad they stuck to 2D portraits for gym leaders, because as charming as the 3D models have proven to be for Pokemon, a little high resolution art does the characters much more justice than character models of X/Y's calibre.
Whats the thing on the top right corner? I don't remember it from Emerald

Cant wait for it! Personally, I found 3rd Gen the best. I just hope that they also have a trainer customization option like in X&Y.
The game was rushed? It was longer than most of the previous games, it never lags at all.
By what measure? The main story can be completed in about the same time as any game. Also, you ever try to battle with the 3D on? There's a huge drop in frame rate.
Diamond/Pearl and Black/White had no memorable Pokemon either
I said Diamond/Pearl had similar problems, but my personal opinion is that Black/White had some pretty creative and well-designed mons. The entirety of the Litwick line being one example.
Why was it trash? It was better than Black/White and Diamond/Pearl by far
Diamond and pearl weren't that bad, they introduced wifi with several features like battling the frontier with a friend over wifi (in platinum anyway). The music was memorable and there were things to do post game such as chaining shiny pokemon, if you encountered heatran all the trainers all over sinnoh became stronger. Plenty of legendary to catch and the storyline wasn't terrible.

OT I am super excited for pokemon ruby and saphire remakes even though I don't have a 3ds since hoenn was my favorite generation

Already beginning to save up money. Money is hard to get for me.

But ya, I'm totally buying it. No doubt about it. (Well unless I know it sucks like Black/White.)

I will be digging a hole under gamestop and then burrowing up to be first in line once the store opens to nab me an Omega Ruby.

GROUDON, learn a flippin' physical fire move please!
A physical solarbeam would be nice too.
