have you lost or gained weight?

ok, so to be honest, i gained lots of weight when i was with my first ex and i really let myself go. ;-; i could hardly fit any of my pants and i was constantly wearing sweats and jeggings in order to fit in it.

now i lost like 18 pounds and im kinda happy to be honest. i honestly dont know how i lost that much, but its awesome. ye. 18 may not seem like a lot, but it is to me since my weight would drastically fluctuate from time to time. so ye. but now im just maintaining it. lost all my weight from that freshman 15 (more like 20 for me) yeeeeeee.

so how about you guys?

I've always been chubby since I was a kid. I always tend to fluctuate between 175-185 and gain and lose weight >.<

I was around 90 pounds, gained around 20 in 3-5 months.
It was to get to the limit of donating blood (110). But I ended up coming to the last appointment late and didn't get to donate.
I want to lose the weight because thinking of how I got it, was really unhealthy.....

I think my metabolism is slowing down

I did track this semester and I ended up going from about 115 lbs to now around 105 lbs, and
maintaining my new weight so far. Track ended a few weeks ago, so hopefully I don't start picking
up the pounds again. It's amazing what less than 3 months of a sport can do for you.

On the other hand, 80% of my pants don't fit me anymore, which is a bit of a downer.

I gained 10-15 pounds when someone important in my life passed away. Now I'm irritated at how none of my old clothes fit so I'm going to start working out this summer (at least in theory).

I've gained like 3-5kg since last year. I plan to cut down on junk food and start exercising again regularly.

man, love is dangerous, falling in love could cause weight gain, but jokes aside, i dont know how people stay thin, like give me some advice, besides living on only air and water.lolz.
@dimo: You're Dimo, that should be motivation enough. You're a busy man though, so I understand that work might bog you down but you're still young. Set a goal for the end of the year and crush it. I won't lie, you saying you have little motivation pisses me off, since I look up to you. Get your backside in gear and push yourself.

If being Dimo isn't enough motivation for you, just know that there are other people that are inspired by you. I don't even know you in person and you affect my lifts at the gym, I could just imagine how many 1 more reppers people who know you in person push out because of you. In the end either give it your all of stop. I refuse to look up to some half. I'm pissed.
Don't get me wrong, I still hit the gym 4-5 times a week, it's just a lack of spotting partner (or anyone I would trust to spot me) just makes me not try to go for that one or two extra reps.I tend to stay on safe weight for longer than usual. It's far from optimal, but such is life, it's the only gym near me that does not require travel and opens late at night so I have to deal with it for now. There is however an "urban" gym opening up near me soon which sounds tantalizing (think Rocky 4 training montage).

I wish I was motivated enough to start working out, mostly trying to lose wait. I planned to on Feb 14th. But yeah I'm still waiting for the motivation.
I have like a 31 BMI, which is supposedly obese or something, but you can only tell I have fat if I were to take off my shirt. I just need to lose stomach and chest fat.

I can't tell when I started getting chubby. I look chubby in 4th grade, but no other year until maybe 8th or 9th. I'm in 11th right now. I think I got the stomach fat in 8th.

My weight has been fluctuating around the 135s~. Was like 110 back in freshman year of high school, currently in college though haha. Been working out for a few weeks now (finally got myself to be determined in something) and I've been seeing some pretty good progress. :_

That 2nd picture is not 195lb worth of muscle. Considering that looks to be around 10%ish body fat. Unless you're like really tall, which it doesn't look like. There's something not being shown.

But I probably gained 5 pounds in the course of 5 years.

I'm 5'10 and I usually fluctuate around 130-135lbs (I actually have a fair bit of muscle mass, just no fat), but last saturday I forgot to eat breakfast and then had to play 10 hours of tennis and we didn't have time to get lunch, so I wound up losing 6lbs that day

18lb is a lot. 18lb of fat is like huge if you put on the table. Good job!

My biceps grown a inch bigger from the last 6 months and my weight is still the same. I'm guessing I've lost fat and gain some muscle.
Hehe, I know the feel. I was 118-120lbs in grade 9. Now.., after all my months of losing weight, bro got me focused on remaining stronger than him. Back up to over 200lbs. So easy to put back on size lol and I must admit I missed eating all that food. Still keeping up my cardio though, like these stronger lungs and heart compared to before.

Nice! I really want to get back into powerlifting. But I have no one to do it with. I used to train with some semi-pro lifters and just being around them made you lift that little bit more. These days I go to a very "average joe" gym, I have so little motivation to push myself

I was 120 lbs in Grade 9, by 2nd year university I was 180.

Since then I've fluctuated between 165 - 180, right now I'm 175 and been maintaining around there for a while.

Whenever I check myself, i'm always within the same range as the last time I checked.
I'm probably going to lose a lot this summer though. (Hot places = more sweating = more dehydration = less eating, because busy = less food in the fridge = inevitable drastic weight loss = not good, because I think i'm a bit underweight as is).
yah. :c

I have gained weight since high school, back then I was a stick, I would be surprised if I was more than 55kg (120lb). Currently, with a lot of hard work I am at about 160-165lb.

I went on medication and lost 40 lbs. Part of it wasn't the medication but that I stopped working out so my appetite plummeted. Used to weigh 165 lbs and look pretty muscular. Oh well.

Well I was 150 lbs, then the Crohns disease in me awakened and I rapidly lost 30 lbs over the course of a month, then I got medicine 9 months later and I gained 10 lbs back bringing me to 130 lbs. It doesn't really fluctuate anymore...for now.
