Your Headphones thread

What kind of headphones do you have/use?
-Is it better to have cheap($10+) multiple headphones or a quality build headphone(beats) for $40-50+?
-Would it be a better idea to buy extra pairs of cheap headphones in case they break; or if you break them easily from stuffing in pocket, gym, workout. Or do those pricey quality headphones "last longer" I think they're that price because of sound quality, not durability.
-Is there a type of headphone where the end cord that connects to your device, that makes it last longer? Some reason my headphones from before, one ear stops working from moving around too much and adjusted the cord at the end. -Would a curved end cord, or straight be better/worse?
-What type of sound settings do you like to listen on(the EQop, Rock, Jazz, Lounger, Bass etc)

I just use the new apple ones that came with my phone because free, but they're comfortable enough to sleep with them in so I don't complain. Plus they have a mic and they're not really ugly so yay!

Marshall monitors for my commutes/casual listening

Sennheiser Adidas something something for workouts

I don't like buds. Only over ear and behind head for workouts.

My next pair will hopefully be in the ~$400 range, I'd really love a pair of beyerdynamics

People don't know what they're missing out on until they have truly amazing headphones (my monitors aren't even the best but they're arguably the sexiest in their price range which is why I got them hehe)

I have Sennheiser HD203s for home.

I have cheap $30 earphones that wrap around my ears for when I go running or commute.

I'm using VMODA Crossfades, but I still prefer my old JVC HA-M750 headphones, even if they did break more often.

@norman897: Thanks I'll check those out. It seems to be around 100 bucks where I'm from so it isn't that bad. Too bad they don't have the curved bud like the bose sports tho.
@YouAzle: Don't you have to buy the actual beats earbuds to get the legit replacements? Other replacements I've used just always seem to fall out of my ear. The bigger replacements hurt my ear bc I try to jam in it so it'll stop popping out, but smaller ones fall out bc they're too small. >.< I might actually invest in the Bose Sport Headphones. I know they're great quality and actually stay in my ear, but dang $150
You could try Klipsch. Their oval tips actually block most, if not all of outside noise. They also fit well and do not slide out easily. Their regular earphones cost around $129 around where I live.

Headphones: Sennheiser HD 449
Earphones: Klipsch Reference R6i

My previous earphones were A-Jays Five, Klipsch Reference S4i, Klipsch Image S4i and Razer Moray+.
My previous headphones were Razer Megalodon and some noise filtering Sony Headphones which I didn't note down the name.

-Is it better to have cheap($10+) multiple headphones or a quality build headphone(beats) for $40-50+?

I personally prefer to have quality build headphones as I find they do last longer. However, I heard Beats isn't a good and durable brand for the kind of premium price you have to pay for.

-Would it be a better idea to buy extra pairs of cheap headphones in case they break; or if you break them easily from stuffing in pocket, gym, workout. Or do those pricey quality headphones "last longer" I think they're that price because of sound quality, not durability.

I break my pairs easily as I get sweat into them and one side of the earphones break. My headphones lasted longer generally though. Again, quality headphones last longer IMO.

-Is there a type of headphone where the end cord that connects to your device, that makes it last longer? Some reason my headphones from before, one ear stops working from moving around too much and adjusted the cord at the end.

My Sennheiser HD 449 had an extra length cord to add on to the cord attached to the headphones if that's what you mean.

-Would a curved end cord, or straight be better/worse?
No idea.

-What type of sound settings do you like to listen on(the EQop, Rock, Jazz, Lounger, Bass etc)

I don't really use EQ sound settings.
Sony mdrxb400. Bass sounds so good on it and the ear part is memoryfoam which is practically a miracle find for me cause I wear glasses and they dont make my ear hurt.
Heyy, my old ones were sonys 15 bucks..lasted very long until i recently messed it up by moving it too much. But I also noticed...when I replace the ear BUDS, from the deault ones they came with( sticks inside ear too in) sed the beats uby dre Buds, theyre big and round and doesnt stick inside your ear and make it hurt, not only comfortable but makes the surround sound seem alot more enhanced, but on the down side they fall off easy if you run and easily falls off the earphone. Thats how I lost 2 sets of those nice buds...

Currently using a pair of Audio Technica MTH-40x headphones. Im also using an external amp so your mileage may vary.
Best headphones I have ever used; comfortable, great sound, no leakage, detachable cable.
Would buy them over and over again.
What kind of headphones do you have/use?
I use both IEMs and circumaurals
Is it better to have cheap($10+) multiple headphones or a quality build headphone(beats) for $40-50+?
Depends on how you're using them. Generally it's better to have a sturdier headphone if you're going out and about (or cheap earphones if you're the sort that just stuffs everything into your pocket and lose them every other month).
Would it be a better idea to buy extra pairs of cheap headphones in case they break; or if you break them easily from stuffing in pocket, gym, workout. Or do those pricey quality headphones "last longer" I think they're that price because of sound quality, not durability.
Depends. Some headphones are just built to be sturdier than others, and if you're spending hundreds on your headphones you would want to be careful with them anyways.
What type of sound settings do you like to listen on(the EQop, Rock, Jazz, Lounger, Bass etc)
I don't EQ often

I have VMODA Crossfades since they were on sale for like 70 bucks and looked pretty cool. 'Cause I'm a speshul little darling, I slapped on a Monokuma sticker on one side.

I agree beats OVER EAR headphones are ridiculous, but the in-ear ones are nice. Though my brothers broke after few months. Yeah overpriced, 4x price of regular headphones and its just enhanced bass

I only listen to music if I walk to or from work, but I use the iPhone headphones, mainly because it has the play/pause button on the wire. I've tried a lot of different headphones (beats, sony, bose, etc) but beats were the best IMO
