Well, yes, because it happens early for so many people, it's not really an accomplishment.
But at the same time, that makes it WORSE to go for a long time without your first kiss. I guess you'd never know how unsatisfying it feels unless you're in OP's (or my) position.

I'll be 18 in two months and I've never kissed a girl, or had a girlfriend, and I'm a virgin still of course. And yeah it sucks.
I'm trying to work on it though...between the time I get out of school (May 14) and the time I turn 18 and get a full time job, I'm definitely gonna be on a quest to date my crush. Well I already am now, but I'll be able to do more then.

I've gone on two "dates" with two different girls, but the first one was a female friend, and the second one is my crush. But they're really more like hangouts.

I usually agree with a lot that you say, but I gotta state my conflicting view.
I would consider myself to be unattractive, insecure and awkward, yet I had my first kiss around 15 or 16.
The person I kissed wasn't a random either, they were somebody that I was close with, we were never in a real relationship but we were on the right track.
Attraction extends beyond seeing a person and saying "yeah you're hot". Attraction can spawn from loving another person's personality (real talk).
I do agree with you in some way though, in terms of a general hook up that means nothing an hour later, being objectively unattractive will make it very difficult to actually have a general hook up.

Absolutely not odd. He's probably waiting until he finds someone whom he truly likes. Kissing girls isn't a contest. Noting wrong with being 18 or even older and still haven't kissed anyone. I kissed a girl when i was 14 and really regretted it. I wished i waited.
Also, don't pressure him about this. Real friends don't do this. He'll kiss a girl when he's ready.
